Thanks for your good wishes everyone!

Update on my mum....

DH just called me and said that the hospital has sent my mum home for the night but she is going back at 11 a.m. tommorrow for the Doppler test.

Whe was supposed to go for that test next week but the bumped her up to tommorrow. Thank goodness!

I guess if they sent her home it can't be too serious

Sorry to hear your Mom was having problems again sweetie. I'm glad to hear they moved up the test though. The sooner they figure out what is going on the sooner they can treat her. Glad everyone kept you in the loop too. DH's parents try to "protect" us too, and it is just MORE of a shock to learn about it later. It is better to be able to know and BE there. Lots of good vibes coming your way.....

Thanks everyone! My mum is currently at the hospital getting her tests done but my dad said he would phone me when they were done. I have him well trained too!

Thanks for your good thoughts everyone!

My mum went through a battery of tests and they gave her some stronger medication today. We are just waiting for the results of the Doppler test to come in.

I was visiting my mum this evening after work (she is at home resting) and she said she feels better today than she has for the last few weeks. She looked and sounded a lot better too

I actually had a pretty good day at work- either the meds are kicking in or my boss is behaving himself not sure which

Mauvais, thank goodness you got those drugs... just in time, huh, sweetie? So glad to hear your Mom finished up the tests, and that she's feeling a lot better. Will it take long to get the results?
Your boss had BETTER be behaving himself, otherwise Ruth and I are going to march in there and kick his ugly butt!
