Getting a haircut is an excellent sign! Good to hear she is feeling perkier.

What I hate most about jobs I hate...
Mauvais, I hear you on the boss being a pooter.
What I hate is that when things are going badly with people or when I'm dissatisfied with the job, part of me starts to wonder, "Is it me? Do I have major personality problems? Am I just unable to be content and hold down a job?" I can't ever get clarity - that's the problem with toxic environments, your own thoughts start to get poisoned and you start losing the ability to even know YOURSELF. At least, that's my take on it. I just moved to Seattle a month ago and finally am in a work environment where I feel appreciated and respected.
Is this happening to you? If so, trust me, it ain't you. Huh-uh.
Ellis, I never did hear how your Dad is doing. And how's Mom, Mauvais?
