On the other hand, when my DH left his awful job they didn't really care!!! We thought that it couldn't get any worse there, but from what we have been hearing lately IT HAS!!!! As my therapist used to say, "Some environments are toxic. When they are you have to leave." Even if that is not possible RIGHT NOW, keep on trying for other positions. IT WILL HAPPEN.
I've been on meds for quite some time now, and they have helped me a LOT. It doesn't sound like you will need them long term the way I have, but I bet they will help. For me it enabled me to work on the problems. For you, I bet it will help you see other possibilities as well as helping you get through. NOTHING is worse than feeling stuck and like there is no way out. I bet it helped just having someone to talk to, too!!!
WE ALL DESERVE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry to hear about your MIL Karen...sending prayers out west for you, your DH and his mom.
but I am feeling a bit better than yesterday-guess I will just take it one day at a time for now
the doctor said it takes about 2 weeks for the medication to kick into full gear.
But I will be sending lots of hugs to your mom & you.
