Our basement looks great. DH came home late tonight and I had done the trim and sewed and hung some curtains. He was impressed. He didn't get the big picture when i started it. The colours are on sections about 6-8 ft long with diagonal edges.It is a huge room ,30X30.That is the tangerine,lime and yellow. Then I added 3 big vertical purple stripes.Then I painted the trim in turquoise, orange and purple. It looks funky and fun. It is for the kids and for parties( pool table). The curtains are a batik sunburst in most of those colours. I need someone to scan before and after pics for me. It is remarkable.
I am going to frame a few things like a vintage Bobby Orr calendar and Janis Joplin tshirt.
I still need to focus more on food it is a bit of a blur these days.
