Meegs- which center do you go to? I go to the one on Duke Street in Alexandria. I think it's 3$/week there, too. It seems that they may be more amenable to exercise -in the new diaries there is a section on each page for activity. But, yes, hold your ground!

Meegs - TickerFactory.com go there to get your weight ticker....they are cool.

If you stand your ground with your running, they will put you on a plan with more food. I followed the same regime as you, started on Gold, then on Blue. Now I'm back on Gold and working out alittle less. I still think it has something to do with LA, they don't like it that when you work out it is harder to see it on the scale, it shows more in your clothes. Since they base our success on the scale, that's what matters to them. Hum, maybe that's why I'm not freaking out so much about my difficult time getting to my goal weight?

Anyhow, it's good to have some more exercise chicks here!

Kristi-
Yes, I did. Remember I did it when I was coming back on LA from Atkins. Becuz when I first came back I started to gain weight and I did it to stop the gain. I think I lost almost 3 pounds, for me that was alot.....Doing the TakeOff wasn't that tough for me, it was worth it.......

Default Thanks

Thanks for the info on Tinkerfactory! I made it work! I love snowmen!!

Julie~ I go to a center in Rockville. They are having the $3/week special, it is what is getting me back in the door.

Also, I know they are going to try to give me grief, as I am basically just going in now to get the special price. With all the holiday parties and Christmas coming up, I know I will not be 100% on plan. However, I have been on my own plan (Tams would love that) since October and have maintained my weight according to my home scale. Maintaining is easy for me now with the amount of running I do everyday.

Ok Chicks, I am heading home for the evening. Talk to you all tomorrow!

Meegs - there also seems to be weekly freebees for getting in 3 wi's a week - this week it's the easy steps tape (which seems like it would be 'baby' steps for you) - Star, you have the same special, right?

And, if you've been maintaining - that's terrific. I've always found it much easier to lose weight than to maintain it.

Kristi - I just knew your friend was skinny, since she's found the key to not keeping sugar around her! She gives it away!

I'm also considering TO tomorrow and Saturday . . .

Star, will you do the honors for creating the new thread? You did so well last time - we got all these new chickies to join us. . .

Default Why are these msgs so old???

I am new to the LAWL program and to this site. Why are these messages so old, like from 2001 and 2002???? Is there somewhere where I can view new messages regarding the new LAWL program???? I paid for the program and am freaking out as they want me to buy 1.5 years worth of bars!!!! I need another job to support this....

Roxy-the LAWL group has a thread-and when it gets too long-around once a month estimated-they start a new thread. When you are on the General Diet Plans board look for the LAWL thread closest to the top of the forum for the newest messages. This goes for a lot of the support threads here.
