Mine stems from two reasons...

First, I love my hips, honestly! I'm a hippy chick. I totally love being curvy with prominent hips. It makes me feel sexy...and I have maintained an hour glass shape even at my top weight.

Second, I am a history grad student and obsessed with the '60s. If born 30 years earlier, I would have been a hippie ... can you dig it???

Mine stems from a period of time a couple years ago when I first moved to Rockford and didn't know anyone.... I developed quite the "chat life". I a nicname for a while that didn't really suit me and I wanted something that would be kind of unique and catch the eye..... hence I came up with Shimmer. However, Shimmer was apparently already taken on 3FC (so much for unique, eh?) so I went to Shimma which is what one of my online buds used to call me (Actually it was ShimmaShimma Coco Puff but.... that was much too long)

Boring boring boring me.
My real name is Kim. My parents called me Kimmy, until the day they died (not long ago, but I was ahem.. over 30)..

Nobody calls me that anymore,so I get a little smile everytime I see the word in print.
Unfortunately, someone else had Kimmy, so I went with first initial, last name.

Just explained this yesterday in another thread.

I'm a Mortician/Funeral Director. When my boyfriend and I started going together he would introduce me to everyone as Morticia. It was really funny because even though some knew what I did for a living, they never figured out it was a joke until one day he called me by my name, which is Laura. Some figured it out when they finally found out my profession.

My sister hosts a chatroom on another site and I always went in there as Morticia. Over the course of time, it got shortened to Morti.

I've been "dietcokehead98" since 1997. It was my first username for email back in the day. I wanted just "dietcokehead" but it was taken.

It comes from two things; my love of diet coke (I love you!) and the movie "Heathers".

I picked mine because I was born on Galveston Island, TX. I am an avid beachy kinda person and love all ocean related water sports. Surfing has always been my thing, but when you get fat it's hard to keep your balance plus you just don't look very flattering in a surf suit . Soooo I'm working on it
