Like the new siggy Zumba!

30 minutes until I leave work and head to the gym. This is the first time in my life I'm actually excited about going! I guess it's because I'm serious about it this time.

Bama honey, I was a spaz that first class and I was already a fitness instructor! It takes time to "get it" and a really good instructor will cue, break down steps so that you do "get it". Don't worry about doing everything the instructor does, just have fun...modify..make it your own! Good Lord woman you're in Florida, Zumba capital of the WORLD!

Finished the day with 1510 calories. Did a Zumba! class tonight. It felt really hard - maybe because I still feel a bit under the weather.

Does anyone else get depressed with all the mirrors at the gym? The 10 lbs. I gaind back are all around my middle - kept trying to avoid looking at myself until I take off a few.

Hello again to EVERYONE...my goodness there are a pile of us 'round here! I know I will never quite keep up.

Got my 1 mile of WATP done today...and I must've done it better because this is the first time I did it in a while and I used more muscles...or at least I could feel them more while I was walking. And I did my 5 girly pushups and my back muscles can feel that.

Still on plan with exercise and food. Yaaay!

Zumba - I just noticed you're in NY. Where? I'm in downstate, 15 min north of NYC.

Yoga and 30ds in. I like that I am committed, and won't let being too tired (or something else) stand in my way. I hope I can keep it up.

Good morning chicas, I'm down another point four..would probably be more if I weren't so darn bloated...I don't think I'm getting enough fiber...

Have some pain in the back of my neck..ouch! I don't teach today but I'm still going to try and do some type of workout, painful neck and all.

Capulet I will try and message you where I am...can we do that on here?

No snow this morning, thought the kids would have a snow day...booooo.....

In about half an hour, going to get 30 minute Firm video done, supercharged sculpting, then a quick yoga session. No run today.

Happy training everyone.

Hey I have snowshoes too...but alas not a lot of snow...but it's snowing now - maybe a walk for me tomorrow too!

I also play vb (for as long as I can remember)...first game since before the xmas break is on Monday and so looking forward to hitting the ball!

Jillian, the shred and I are still friends...today will be day 5 of L1...thinking of how long I will stick with L1. Was thinking of 1 week but might go for 2 if the boredom of one routine for two straight weeks doesn't get to me. As for the side plank move Madambutterfly mentioned....oh it gets me every time. Even when I was working with a PT last year it's the only thing that holds me back...the pain and balance are all too powerful --- hmmm....sounds like a goal for me!

Feeling a little blah today as "mother nature" is making my stomach look like a balloon...hopefully next week I'll feel (and look) like the exercise and eating changes are making a real difference!

As the weekend encroaches upon us, so does temptation so hold strong everyone!

morning everyone, well early afternoon.

I had a busy morning and have not done my workout, probably after a lite lunch
Dreading the <gulp> side plank, but at least I can do it a little bit.

River, the scale was much nicer to me this AM, let's just see if it holds . . . mmmmmmm, either way it's going down and that's what counts.

Hang in there ladies Week 1 is almost over

To answer your question Natamar, yes, I hate looking in the mirror. I know what I used to look like compared to now and it is pretty depressing. I noticed today that I have yucky back fat. I'm really better off NOT looking in the mirror but so metimes it is good to face reality....it if motivates you to work harder.
