Friday- day 4 for me...

spent an hour and a half pruning roses. Well, ok, I spent about 15 of that talking to my neighbor who stopped to say hello! I got six more roses pruned...big thorny boogers. It filled the wheelbarrow to overflowing twice! I even wheeled it all into the cutting pile in the backyard. Tom will be so happy. (if I leave the cuttings laying around he steps on them barefooted...ouch!)

Default Friday p.m.

Took a short walk with a friend. It was so nice to get outside and actually move my legs in a natural stride.

Love,
Crystle

Report for Saturday---

I worked out in the yard from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a 30 minute break for lunch. My "workout" consists of cutting back all my perennials and then having to pick all that up and bag is, raking leaves and then bagging them, sweeping the excess stuff and bagging that. My back is killing me from all that bending over. Lets hope my abs felt the workout too.

Exclamation Time to start gardening!

Cleaned up the yard Saturday and Sunday. I like winter and hate to see it go , but I do like to garden, and I spent most of Saturday prepping a site that will become a cat run. Still too early to sow the groundcover I have planned, but I was able to rake and weed the area, and put down some pre-emergent. Also managed to get some stakes and screen up, but will have to get more. Walked the dogs Saturday as well. Also gave them a much-needed bath which they hated. I stand them in a kiddie pool in the basement and scoot around it on a task chair. So much easier on the back!
