Hi everyone. Where did the weekend go? I did not do so great on plan this weekend. Went to a neighborhood halloween party yesterday/last night. It was a lot of fun. I did have3 beers but no food was core. It was all fabulous, but not core. Today is a new day and I'm doing better. My two sisters called me this afternoon to go to the local state park to walk for an hour. Took DD to meet them. We did one different trail that ended up being much much longer than we expected. Our 1 hour walk ended up as a 2 hour walk! 20 minutes of that was carrying a 40+ pd 5 year old on my back!. She did great for the first hour or so, but then it was a bit too long. She tried and did great, but needed a little help. I guess I worked off the non core food and beer from last night

I did make a core pasta dish -- sautee'd onion, peppers and mushrooms, added an italian chicken sausage and canned tomatoes. Then mixed in whole wheat pasta. I have lunch for the week.

Jamie -- congats on the fabulous loss! I'm glad you enjoying core. I think the difference with core and flex is thatg core is teaching us how to eat healthy and lose weight. Its much easier to track non core foods that you may eat rather than tracking all food. Your planning is great! I think that is the key to core -- having healthy food availble to grab when you need it rather than having to look for it. I love the idea of all the portioning -- I should do more of that. What was in your core hummus?

Sandra -- congrats to you on your win! WOO HOO!

Maryann -- hope you enjoyed the nice weekend. We were lucky last night that the rain held out. We left the party close to 7:30 and it was starry out! It did rain a lot overnight, but gone by the time we left for church. How did you make out? I saw Beverly Hills Chihuahua last weekend -- dd cried all through it! I thought it was cute, hope you enjoyed it.

Steph, could you share the recipe for bacon and bean soup. Sounds good.
