Kinda bummed about gaining. I did go to the gym yesterday for the first time in 2 weeks. My knee had really begun to hurt so I took a break. I'm a bit sore this morning, which means my muscles are retaining water. I feel blah though.

Pleased with the loss but really that's just from 2 days of being very focused. The real challenge will be the next week... especially since I'm going on a trip to visit my bro and SIL and have an interview where I will be wined and dined. Yikes!

Yikes! I'm gaining since thanksgiving! Thank goodness for this challenge. I'm gonna try harder now to LOSE and NOT GAIN for the rest of this year!

Sigh. I've gained the last two days even though I haven't cheated on my diet at all. I was down to 191.3 on my cheat day so of course I was going to be up. But the last couple of weeks by Wednesday I'm back down to my lowest weight. Which isn't going to happen this week. Maybe I've had too much sodium. Or maybe it's TOM related but I'm at the end of it even though I just started my last week of pills in the pack? I don't know! I guess I'll find out next week lol. I lost and that's all that should matter =)

I lost 2.4 lbs this week. I should be really happy but I'm actually up .4 lbs from sunday! After being stuck for a week at the same weight I finally dropped 2.8 lbs in two days. I went out for mexican food last night with my family and my mouth was extremely dry when I woke up this morning. Clearly I didn't drink enough water yesterday so I'm thinking it's just water weight and that it'll be down again very soon. Actually, I should be thankful that I didn't end up even higher this morning!

I'll do some personals later just wanted to let everyone know straight from the challenge "secretary".

Registration is closed tomorrow morning once the week 1 chart is posted (whenever I get to it). If the chart isn't posted you can still sign up and add your username to the bottom of the googledocs spreadsheet

After I do the chart I will delete the extra rows in the googledocs spreadsheet and make a note on the first page that the challenge is closed. Thanks

Well, I gained about a pound, but I'm okay with it... I'm surprised I didn't gain more from Thanksgiving and leftovers I've been enjoying! Even though I'm eating bad stuff, I guess I'm doing well with moderation. However.... leftovers are almost gone and its time to get back to work!

I love this attitude! It's definitely one I'm sticking with after a 3lb gain this week.

I've slipped back into my old eating habits where I think I'm eating well but in fact I'm well over 2000kcal every day. It's so easy for me to do, I really need to knuckle down and MAKE myself eat more healthily. Ah well, if at first you don't suceed and all that!

I'm strained my foot somehow and it's really sore, so I'm not sure what to do at the gym this week but I'm going to head down in a bit anyway and get going on some weights.

Good luck for the rest of the week everyone!

well it hard for me to admit but I have gained weight. I didn't want to but I did thanksgiving took a tole on me first AF came then got cold and had so much leftover and goodies that I got back into my old eating habits. Thanks to this challenge and this forum i am admitting my weight gain and it gives me motivation to keep going and to lose weight. Time to get back to work so I can loose 10 pounds by NYE. That is my goal at the moment. I cant wait till I loose 30 pounds not only cause my bf buy me a new outfit but cause he said I can't do it so he wont have to spend the money lol(I loves me a challenge showing ppl I can do what they think I cant do it motivates me)

Baseline: 11/22 --- 279
Week 1 : 11/29 --- 282

goal for week 2 loose the 3 pounds I gain plus loose 2 more..

Today started off bad with bad choices of food I have ate the wrong food already so instead of waiting a day like I usually do I think I will start right now making good choices

The website said you should be able to run 3-5 miles at start, so I should make the cutoff. I think the group runs and having to keep up with the groups progress would motivate me like crazy. My running buddy said she'd probably do the program with me if I do it. I'm waiting to see if I got this job I applied for (which would require relocation) and I want to see how bad the winter is before I sign up for an outdoor program. But I'm excited none the less. Now that I'm more in shape and more competitive in these races I enjoy running more. Also I did a 10k over the summer in 1 hour and 21 min. I walked alot of it though. I will probably do another 10k at some point and hopefully do a bit better. I've heard insanity is pretty intense too, great job with keeping that up. All good things.
That's an awesome idea! I think group running sessions will definitely keep you on track. Good luck on your new job =). That's a great time! I managed to do it in 1 hour 11 minutes.

A 0.8 pound gain. I honestly expected it to be much worse. I saw 187 one day this week. I ate SO badly, pumpkin pie for breakfast a few days, lots of beer, candy, and thanksgiving food. I got back on the wagon Sunday and the bloat went down leaving me up a pound. I'm really glad this challenge is keeping me on track. I feel Very Happy.

Aangel22 – sorry to hear that. Glad you’re doing your best to pick yourself up

Darlingbrit – Good Job!! That’s a great attitude to have.

Daki – the scale moves in mysteries ways. One week you’re a diet ninja where nothing can tempt you and you only lose half a pound. Then the next week you’ll cheat like crazy and lose 5. There’s no rhyme or reason to it. Just stick with things and the pounds will come off eventually. Good Luck!

CountryBarbie24 – A lot of us gained. It sounds like your right back on the wagon. I’m sure you can lose 30 pounds.
