Gosh, I know right? I'm not sure if you started at 204 or 180, CollegeGirl (your profile vs ticker are confusing me!), but if it were 204 we pretty much started at the same weight! (+5 pounds for each inch, right?) and are pretty much the same weight now-ish! When did you start losing? I started on March 21st of this year.

Meg when I started here at 3FC I weighed 182, by the time I got a ticker I was at 180. My highest recorded weight 204 was about 8 months before that, I just didnt know about 3FC then!
You have lost so much faster than me I am jealous! We are just about the same now! I am now considering dropping my goal weight down to 135 but Ill consider that more when I get to 140! haha

I know what you ladies mean about dropping your goal weight. I've been thinking about dropping my goal to 130 but honestly, after struggling to lose 60+ lbs I just want to get to goal! The thought of having to lose 20 more lbs vs 12 lbs is all mental, but 12 seems so much more doable right now, you know?

I'm still sitting at 150 - had a large splurge weekend with our anniversary night out and company Christmas party. I'm betting if I work my butt off today and tomorrow I will see 149 by Friday (let's hope!)

Thanks for the welcome!!! I weighed in today and I was 157 today down 2 lbs from yesterday. I tend to weigh in every morning at work since I have a scale here. So I'm assuming I was holding a lot of water weight yesterday.

Hi ladies! I'm joining back up. After awhile at 159-162, I finally have dropped to 155-158. Today I weighed in at 155.6. I would LOVE to see the 140's in the next month or so, but I'm so afraid with the holidays. Not only do my husband and I stay with my parents (so totally out of my food comfort zone), but we have 4 houses to visit for Christmas AND his B-Day is the 22nd and mine is the 27th. It's always SUCH a disaster b/c everyone wants to make lots of great food or take us out.

I did have a victory though!!! Yesterday there was yet another Xmas party in my office and this one was HUGE! About 6 different, yummy desserts (My downfall), halushki, meatballs, spinach dip, chex mix (a trigger food for me!). And I ate NOTHING! I diliberately packed my lunch and ate fruit, yogurt, and a bagel. I didn't even have a nibble. I NEVER do that. It gives me a little hope for the holidays.

Happy Wednesday!

I've been quiet the last few days. Weighed in at 155.4 tonight! Not exactly where I want to be but a loss is a loss.

Fat Pants- that is so frustrating!! I know the feeling, but I am sure that you will see a loss in the near future.

Kurri- way to be possitive, a loss is something to be thankful for even when its not as much as we would like!

ahope- if you make a plan before going to see the family it will be much easier to eat right. I know it sounds silly but sometimes before going into an environment where I know there will be foods I should say no to, I have to practice in my mind not eating them and heading for the veggie tray.

As for me another loss WHOOT whoot!! I got on the scale this morning and it said 151.0!! I am almost there, maybe I will be able to accomplish my christmas goal after all

Kurri--Those small losses add up really quick! Way to go!

Fat Pants--Ahh, so CLOSE!! You'll be outta here within the next few days I'm sure! Congrats!!

CollegeGirl--I can't wait 'til I get to the lower end of the 150s...being at the top makes the 140s seem so far away! You're almost there!! Congrats!!

As for myself...TOM is gone, so I'm going to step on the scale in the morning just to see where I'm at...I haven't weighed myself since Sunday. I hope I see at least a LITTLE bit of a loss!!! Cross your fingers for me!!

I wore... my only size 12 jeans yesterday!

Most of my family is on my case for wearing clothes that are too big on me. Last week I went to Old Navy's size chart to see what they say I should be wearing. Get this: My hips would fit in a size 10 but my waist is a 14/16. I've been wearing 14s and 16s. The biggest problem I have is when I put them on in the morning, they fit fine but by the time I'm walking home, they are literally falling down. Also the butt part sags alot!
A few people have suggested wearing low rise pants but I never liked them. I guess I'm stuck. I did tell my one aunt who wants to buy me clothes for Christmas to buy me size 12 but I'm sticking to my XL tops

Where is everyone lately?

Amba
, how did your weigh in go today?

Echo, where have are you hiding? How are you doing?

I'm afraid I pigged out this weekend. My second cousin's daughter (also one of the children I sit for) has been in the hospital since Friday. She's only two and I have watched her 3-6 days a week since she was one month old. The snow all over the area prevented me from visiting her and so I basically made a pig of myself. She had a... well a thing (they don't really know what it is) removed from her jaw (I found it there two weeks ago) and they sent it for testing. Results won't be in until at least mid-week and with a family history and me just beginning to read My Sister's Keeper, I'm fearing the "C" word so much that I can barely sleep at night. Please just keep her in your thoughts.

Kurri--I think everyone (myself included) is probably kinda busy with Christmas stuff...I haven't had time to get on the computer. Been facebooking (addicted!) mostly with my phone Weigh-in went surprisingly well today!! I was 157.8!! I wasn't expecting that at all...2 days ago I saw 161.0...I was freaking out!! Must've been water weight. But thanks for asking! Also, your cousin's daughter is in my thoughts and prayers...I hope everything turns out ok! Keep us updated!

Hi Kurl! thanks for asking after me

my cousin is here from america. so i've been super busy with her!

my weight rose up to its highest last week to 156.6lbs ,gah ! but thankfully its gone down again to what it was early last week, phew. its TOM at the moment. so possibly the weight fluctuations was water retentions, but also i did over eat my calories, as was feeling quite hungry. but did exercise a few days last week.

today i weighed in at 154.6lbs
