wannabehealthy I don't mind sewing, but I don't exactly love it and that is the reason why I don't have a sewing machine. Fabric tape is a good friend lol
So just did 1h of exercise, time to get this day going and enjoy my last day of staycation. We're putting up our Christmas tree this afternoon! It would go perfect with the snow in loveofmylife001's area.
lovemylife, it's a 3 day plan. I haven't got pass day two yet though. I keep repeating it. Like Martine, I've been doing good, then come dinner/suppertime I cave ... except for the first day 2 that I did it. Oh no I'd go bonkers eating this until I reached my desired weight (ha I really don't know if I could do it since I have never made it to day 3 with success)
ok I've got to get up in 6.5hrs for work. I just got off at 3:35pm, went in at 4am. I'll finish catching up tomorrow. Good night all
MartineThanks, I went out yesterday and it was a mess. I think the first snow is always the worst because people forgot how to drive in it lol. I was thinking afterwards, that it is really beautiful out with the snow covering the trees, but I don't need it lol. Maybe just on Christmas day
love2b150 Wow, your work schedule is crazy. When I worked midnights it was impossible for me to lose weight. I couldn't stick to any plan as my eating was just thrown off. I'm sure you'll be able to pull it together soon, just never give up.

I need to add some cardio and some weight training to my daily living.
Well the goal this week is to start my cardio.
Food-wise not a great weekend, but got plenty of cleaning done. Sometimes though it feels like all I do on the weekends is clean, with no time for anything else. Did manage to do some food prep though, which is great because that means I have no excuses not to eat well the next few days.
Weighed in at 209.1 this morning, higher than my last reported weigh in here, but lower than what I saw on the weekend after my pizza binge. I've decided I'm going to sign up for weight watchers on Wednesday. There's a meeting that's close to my work (10 min walk) and it's held during at 12:15 (lunchtime), so it's kind of perfect for my schedule. Now to just have Wednesday come faster . Today is a gym day, I'm hoping to do just cardio as a warm up and then some weights. Haven't felt a good sore in a while.
Hope everyone had a great on plan weekend! We didn't get the additional snow on Sunday that they were forecasting, which was great because we got enough on Saturday lol.
I just finished my workout and threw a load of laundry in. It's so nice to be on vacation so that I can do things leisurely. I'm going to go have my now.
Kukkie84WW is a great program. I used the program a few years ago but after I went into maintenance, I went back to my old ways, but you will definitely lose weight. That's why I'm so strict with myself now while I'm in maintenance because I know myself lol. Good for you for making that step
bigjoe Cardio is definitely the way to go. I workout 6 days a week with no excuses, well not many lol. I feel terrible if I miss a day, so I try not to.
Well, I did pretty well, I thought! I resisted all of the fudge that everyone else was eating and made good choices when eating out.....except for the last meal of the trip....I had fish and chips, followed by carrot cake! But, I wasn't expecting the slap in the face I got from the scales!
I didn't get in all my water and TOM has arrived so I am hoping that MOST of the jump will come off quickly!

Didn't go to the gym last night, someone threw up in there and they had to close it for cleaning. Somehow also managed to gain a pound.
I'm going to sign up for WW tomorrow, only because that's the day that fits into my schedule. Apparently I have to get there half hour before the meeting and plan to stay a half hour after the meeting. So it's about two hours in the middle of the day that I'll be gone from work. But I need to do it, so I'll make it work. I'd go today if I could, but I'm in training all morning, and then meetings all afternoon. Argh. Looking forward to tomorrow.
Its been almost a month on Low carb... I found in the past I would switch up diets in the middle of a diet. It would take be a week before I ended up doing something else. LC for me was always the way to go even with a stall.
As I do more research on my food choices I get better... I am trying to keep my carb intake under 20 G... I don't do a lot of protein shakes but I if I am hungry in between meals I do have one as a snack. There are times I pre-plan my shake for a PM meal..

Hectic and rushed to get out this morning, so no weigh in this AM, however I am heading over at lunchtime to go sign up for and attend my first WW meeting. I hope this is exactly what I need to get going. I really do want to start the new year in Onederland again.
