Howdy everyone!

I'm back at it again after getting down to 170 and then regaining. I started on the Atkins plan in September and have been steadily losing. I hope everyone is doing well and having success.

I think this is the hardest phase to get through...its the path to Onderland and maybe because it is such a accomplishment for many but still hard!

dietcokehead. Yes you will get there, impossible as it may seem. I started out at 222 lbs. Today I am 200 lb exactly. It's taken 8 months but really, I didn't focus too hard on it.

I'm almost back into the two teen's which I just got into the beginning of December. Then we had a Christmas party, the holidays and I gained weight.
I will just keep working toward my goal.

*sticks head in and waves*

Well, this is the second weekly weigh in below 220, so I guess it counts! I'm always cautious about jumping in after the first one in case the drop was an anomaly, or I bounce.

I think I'm looking forward to 207lbs more than 200... 207 was the lowest number I reached 10 years ago the last time I tried to take the weight off before the whole thing kind of petered out. I remember in 1999 my doctor saying my weight was around 212, and when I graduated high school in 1994 I'd have been around 150. Kinda strange what numbers your brain remembers when the scale starts getting closer to them than it's been in a while.

Thinking about my last post and the fact that 207 feels more significant to me than 200, I've decided to do some wee adjusting to the next set of goals.

Weight classes as per the ones fighters use! In the two-teens, I technically qualify as a heavyweight. Next goal is the Light Heavyweight class, 205 lbs! Jon Jones, I'm coming for your title lol

A quick list of the UFC weight classes (I use UFC because that's the promotion hubby and I both watch)

205-265 Heavyweight
185-205 Light Heavyweight
170-185 Middleweight
155-170 Welterweight
145-155 Lightweight
135-145 Featherweight
125-135 Bantamweight
115-125 Flyweight
<115 Strawweight

I could not wait to jump into this thread. I was 220.8 last week and hit 216.4 this morning after shoveling my butt off all week, literally! I was hoping to be 219.9 so the rest is a bonus!

The last time I was in onederland (last April/May) I felt like a million bucks. I hope to be back there by April so that gives me 2 months to lose 16.4 pounds. Totally doable.

I'm seriously so glad to be in this thread. I was 241 on December 1st.

---> 217 lbs! I have not seen the scale this low in over 20 years! Hi all~ I have not been on this site in a long time... but was a regular here... I hit one of my all time highs of about 289... 6 months ago... Since then it's been quite a journey to get where I am now... I still have a long way to go.... but just over 1/2 way to my guesstimated goal 150... clean eating & weighing & measuring my food, has brought me this far.. & will carry me on. <3

indigal, wow, 72lbs in 6 months--your diet plan is really working for you! Or should I say you're really working your diet plan? active, you have lost an incredible amount of weight, and it must be so exciting to be this close to your goal. I'm cheering for you!

I haven't officially checked into this thread yet, but I've been browsing it before I even hit the teens. Gotta admit that I couldn't wait to get into it and now I can't wait to get out of it, LOL. How are you guys doing? Any updates?
