I dont get a lot of backhanded compliments but was told that I no longer "got back" since I lost the weight. Another woman told me I seem to be "melting before [her] eyes". thanks?

I got "Wow! You are getting thin...er...thinner is what I meant to say." I would have been happy with thin. Do they not think that I know that I am fat?! LOL I do have eyes and a mirror!!
