I just got home from the gym & had a great workout. I deadlifted 175lbs!!! I think my trainer was quite proud/happy with me for that. And on my 500m row I pushed as hard as I could & almost threw up afterwards (ok, I know that doesn't sound like a good thing - but for me it is just proof that I am learning how to really push myself in my workouts).

It'll come when you are least expecting it...

Oh... And moving the TV to the basement helped.

One is still better than where most of us were at when we started. Congrats on that hun!

I got up on time today (one of my goals for the week) & went to the gym & had a really good, hard cardio session. As an added bonus while I was on the treadmill there was some great eye candy in a tight shirt pushing iron - yum!

okay my turn!!! Today I was offered an unlimited serving of Domino's
Pizza yummmmmm. Now Domino's isn't the best, but hey, it's better than no pizza at all right. Get this - I turned it DOWN! I just said, "no thank you, I've been doing so good that is the last thing I need!!!" Didn't even go smell it (okay admission, I didn't have to get up, the scent was wafting over to my desk for a couple hours at least), and no I didn't second guess my decision either. Hoorayyyyyyyy!

I had a hard circuit workout today. My trainer said for the 2nd cycle we would just go as far as we could but probably wouldn't get through it all - well, I got through it all!!!

And we were talking about my deadlift from the other day (175lbs) & he said he thinks I could probably handle at least 250lbs so on my next deadlift day we're going to push it & see how much I can lift. (He does strongman comps & powerlifting - I'm thinking of trying my hand at it so I'm curious if I have the potential to do well.)

I am having fun with my workouts. Ok, maybe that's not totally right - during the workouts I keep thinking "I'm insane!" but afterwards I feel really good about it. It IS fun to see progress.

I posted in the exercise forum that my heart rate isn't getting as high when I do my cardio intervals on the elliptical. I used to easily get my heart rate into the 170s and 180s now I barely crack the 160s. This is a great thing! I'm also not as tired when I do my workouts.

However, this means I have to work harder to get my heart rate back up. Oh well, this is what this journey is all about. Bring it on!!!!
