Just a quick post for now....will post my food journal later ..

I weighed in this morning as it was the one week mark since starting on plan and let me say I was sort of saddened.....only 1lb after a whole week....I remember the first time I joined I lost almost 5lbs the first week....and this time 1lb....I know I should be happy with that but it truly upsets you to see such a small loss when your doing pretty good on plan......any suggestions??????

Talk later...Lisa

Unhappy don't do it mom.....

Hi MOm.....that is exactly why I don't weighin everyday anymore....I would "psych" myself out of a decent day only because the scale wouldn't show a loss. I now stick to the friday only weigh in. I remember at my job (before moving) I would have to walk by a weighing station for shipping loads and almost every one who was on a diet would do the "daily jump" on the scales. Hard to avoid them.....and so many times if the numbers weren't the ones I wanted to see.... I'd just keep right on walking to the snack box. Sort of self-defeating.....if you know what I mean!!! Come on.....you can do this!!!

On my way downstairs to cook dinner.....talk later on....Lisa

Default Hi girls!

Mom here is a simple solution to weighing yourself everyday. Put the scale up somewhere, like maybe somewhere it might be a hassle to get it out except for once a week. I hard time breaking myself of doing that also but somehow I did it.

A franchise opened in our town that is in the Wilkes Barre area (about 1 hour away from here) that has awesome BBQ sandwiches with really huge buns. Well my son and mother in law wanted them. You guys are going to be proud of me I took them down and passed it all up for my dinner I cooked at home!!! Believe me that was a tough one because I know how good they are but maybe next time and I will pick the bread out of the middle of the bun.

Well I hope you both are having a great day, and talk to you both later.

Red face RISE AND SHINE!!!!! GOOD MORNING!!!

Good Morning Mom....Sassy!!!! 7am and all is well.....already one boy off to school and now its time for #2 son. I'm volunteering again but this time its in my Jr.K classroom of my son. I'm really looking forward to that. I had a good day yesterday (when all was said and done....)and hopefully the rain will stop so I can use my new pedometer I bought yesterday. Its really neat, has info besides the miles walked....also has # of steps...(as in the 10,000steps per day) and calories used. I finally figured out the measuring of my 'stride' so now there's no excuse!!! This is hump day so ......just 2 more days with weighin to look forward to. Make it a good day!!! I'll be back later on with my journal.

ps....way to go Sassy......excellent will power!!!

Mom dump cake? What is in that it sound interesting. My sister used to make a dump cake that of course wasn't ww friendly. It had cherrys and that in it. Let me know when you get a chance.

Ok the cookout went ok I had to use my AP points and some out of my bank but I didn't bust my bank so that is good!!!!!!

Default Dump Cake for Sassy..

Sassy...the dump cake was absolutely wonderful.....and good for a sweet but small snack.....

I made my batch smaller as I didnt have all the fruit called for....but here it is....

2 16oz bags of frozen fruits( I used berries and I think I should have drained them little soupy but thickened up after sitting over night )
1 package of yellow cake mix ( not mixed though )
1 1/2 C diet sprite

placed the berries on bottom of a sprayed baking dish, then evenly sprinkled the cake mix over the top of the berries and then you evenly pour the soda over the top of the cake mix and dont stir it ..... then bake it according to the box......it was 3pts for about a half cup size serving....and I put ff coolwhip on top.....it was absolutely yummy

If either of you like scalloped potatoes.....I found a recipe on here the other day for cheesy scalloped potatoes....oh my god they were awesome....you would not have known they were made for WW's.....and my oldest son gobbled them up!!!
