The bug I had earlier this week has morphed into a sinus infection. Good stuff. NOT!
Friday nite DF called & said he & some friends from work were going out for drinks. He asked if I would join & since it was 8 pm on a Friday nite & I was sitting on the couch in my pajamas I was like “heck ya!” I’ll be there in 15. Went to a little dive bar & his friends were really cool & fun was had by all. Then DF & I went to our regular bar for a drink & that place was crazy packed! We’ve been getting out a lot more & it’s been good for us.
I was kind of annoyed tho after we left the bar. We used to always stop for fast food on the way home from going out. He was trying to get me to stop & I only had 6 points left for the day. I got kind of mad & asked him what was he trying to do to me???? He shut up after that.
No jeans. There were some good possibilities, but not in my size. I think once I drop one more size Goodwill will be awesome. I could not believe all the designer stuff they had there! I did find some sweatpants & this really cool houndstooth blazer, that will look cute w/ a black t-shirt & jeans (if I had any that fit). We also both got some sweat pants & some nice coffee mugs. It was really fun. My DF was being hilarious, he found this giant wooden fork & had to have it. It was seriously huge! Like as tall as me. Luckily they had a smaller version of the same thing w/ a matching spoon. I managed to convince him that the smaller version was much cooler. Dodged the bullet on that one.
We also went to a local coffee shop & I treated myself to a couple ½ pounds of coffee beans. He bought some tea leaves that smell delicious. Then we went out to lunch. We decided to just stay in for dinner and avoid the chaos of a restaurant on Valentine’s Day. Watched a move & just hung out. It was a good day.
How are you feeling Nancy? How were the crab legs? We’re having those on Tuesday for our anniversary. Yummy!!!
Getting back on plan today after my little hiatus yesterday. I can’t believe how much my weight fluctuates by just taking one day off plan. I’m sure it’s mostly water retention, but I was up 5.8 lbs from yesterday! Isn’t that nuts?
