Default Here I go (again)!!

I just got my info in the mail yesterday & today is day 1! I'm pretty excited about it 'cuz my eating has been really out of control lately.

A little about me, I am a professional dieter. I have been struggling w/ my weight for years & have tried just about every program out there. I am always succesful in the beginning, but can't seem to keep the motivation up long term. Hoping that things will be different now b/c I really want to get this weight off. We want to have a baby & I ain't getting any younger!

This past year I did LA Weight Loss, which I really really enjoyed, but couldn't stick to long term. I lost 30 pounds early in the year and gradually started gaining it back over the summer. I still have 14 off so at least this wasn't one of the gain it all back plus 10 more type situations.

What I did get out of the LA program that I hope to apply to WW, is they really taught me balanced eating. Their program is very restrictive & focuses on whole foods & good nutrition. I will say that I have never felt better in my life than when I was on that program and found lots of foods that are very healthy that I actually liked! I plan to incorporate alot of the same concepts into the WW venture this time, saving my flex points for the "treat" items I so craved when doing LAWL.

I'm familiar w/ the points program, but the momentum stuff is all new to me so I'll be spending the day reading up on the materials.

I LIVED on this website when I was successful at LAWL. I am looking forward to meeting all you Weight Watchers & hope you will welcome a very chatty new girl to your group!

Well welcome aboard! I only turned professional 3 years ago before that I considered my self an amateur with diet and eating plans that would never have worked no matter how hard I wanted them to.

I have been doing ww at home for about 4 months now and the loss is slow for me but they keep saying that is good but keeping the motivation is hard. That is why I joined this forum I need the chickies on here to kick my butt when I screw up then take me back in the fold and put me on the right path

so I think you have found the right place! Keep on posting

Thanks Nancy! Looks like 1 more pound & you'll be to your half way mark. That's awesome!

Welcome Jill! Nancy's right, there is a great group of Chickies here! I'm Anna, another professional dieter too!!! Ive struggled with my weight since I was about 8 or 9. I always wonder if I didn't start the yo yo dieting so early in life if I would have an issue with it now and still be a yo-yo dieter. After having my youngest daughter, I started WW for the first time on Jan 1, 2004. I lost about 40lbs and gained it back, and then restarted in August 2006 and lost 54lbs and I've been struggling for the past year to not gain it all back. I have to weigh myself in the morning, but I figure to date I've gained about 1/2 of it back. I just want to reach my goal for once and maintain it. I cant wait to reach it and know what it feels like to be at my goal weight. One thing I do know is WW works wonders, its me keeping my motivation going that is lacking. Now that the holiday's are over I have no excuses! Tomorrow starts a new day for me to get back OP. Feeling the pride in yourself after a work out, losing weight, and having to buy smaller clothes in more enjoyable than any piece of food I have put in my mouth.
