Default At Home Support Dec 21-27 Happy Holiday

Well for me this week is going to be a bit of a challenge with the holiday. Even though I am starting out with good intentions and will power I know in my heart of hearts that the ole saying 'eat, drink, and be merry' will be my mantra for several days in a row.

My wi in was this morning and I am up .5 and after looking back on my food journal and activity log I did not use all my flex points (still had 10 left) and had 23 activity points for the week...so go figure? Maybe I need to re-evlauate my pts? I don't know maybe one of you more experienced WW'ers has some insight?

Now on a positive note! My daughter is flying in for the holiday -- barring the airport is not closed lol so we are looking forward to some great time together. It has been 2 years since she has been her for the holiday.

What are everyone's holiday plans?

Hi nancylmrn and ty for the welcome. I really didn't have a pic of myself that I like so I used one of my daughter. I am not having such a good weekend, I have eaten out every day......poor planning on my part makes it hard for me to cook dinner. We have been so busy trying to get the house ready for Christmas Eve that I either forgot to go to the store or lay something out to thaw.

I am hosting my inlaws for Christmas Eve and hopefully will have a quite Christmas morning. Monday will be better for me as far as eating goes cause most everything is finished around the house.

I hope you have a good visit with your daughter.

May I join in? I'm sure I've posted on here before. I was losing regularly until I suffered a miscarriage a few weeks ago. I'm trying hard to get back on track and continue losing. I'm kinda worried with Christmas being here but we're having a ww friendly menu.

I am so sorry for you loss blue...it is a hard blow and will take some time to recover. I had two myself.

Well there is no doubt this is going to be one hard week for many of us. I am hosting Christmas eve dinner and making of all things manicotti...could I have picked a more fat freindly meal??? But I am saving my flex points just for that. Christmas day I will be fine since I not one for sweets, but my downfall will be the stuffing from the turkey. But I keep telling myself if I only have a small amount on my plate along with the good stuff I should be alright.

At this point though we may have to postpone our holiday gatherings. Seems mother nature likes us so well it gave us a white christmas and it is still comming. They do try to keep the main roads clear but the side streets are very trechous ...then at night when everything freezes back up - oh my - and did I mention that you can not travel anywhere that you do not have to climb a hill or go down one? LOL the joys of living near a mountain range

well I am working from home today, I did not want to see my car in a ditch just before the new year. So I better get back to it

Very sorry for your loss blue : (

I'm new to the board so Hi everyone! I'm on day 3 and going strong.

My goal this weeks is to stay on plan thru tomorrow, eat reasonably Wed & Thursday, & get right back to tracking & journaling on Friday. I've already seen a 2 lb loss, so if I can maintain that through this week, I'll be a happy girl.

Time to get back to work. Just finished my yummy, healthy low-point salad!

Hey Blue, I'm impressed w/ your 45 minute walk! I can't wait until I can accomplish that. I used to love walking my dogs before I got so heavy.

JR and Blue excellent! great start--what motivation! and I truly mean that!

And here I am trying hard to resist temptation. I would love to see a 1, 2 or 3 pound loss in one week but other here keep telling me since I don't have much to lose ...blah blah blah---sorry to those who have said it..it does not make staying motivated any easier. I gain over 40lbs in less than a year when I started taking medication for hypertension (the dr's blew it off as my age-bs!) and I just want to get down to a normal weight for me....ok I am done now I will get off my soap box and will stop it....geez sometimes a baby rant feels so good

tomorrow is another day -- another chance to live more healthy

Well here it is another day! This is going to be rough week for me point wise. It will not be so much the food as the alcohol. Boy those points add up fast. But I know anything in moderation is not bad. It will not suprise me if I gain this week. I am struggling trying to find some extra time just to fit in an exercise routine.

After working today I have to fix some dinner then drive on (I hope only wet streets) to the airport to pick up my daughter. Tomorrow morning will be prep time for dinner here with small part of my family then of course christmas day with all the family (aunts, uncles, cousins etc) Friday & Sat look promising but it will depend on my visiting daughter and her plans with my car LOL

Well has everyone made their wish list and sent it off to Santa???? I miss having small children in the house they are so cute when it comes to presents...But I was shocked to see my two 16year olds snooping around under the tree I thought they outgrew that. Guess you are never to old

Ok I am off to do so work will check in later

My kids are 1 & 3 and I've had to keep chasing them away from the tree. your 16yo's- are they identical twins?

Helloe evryone! Sorry that I have been MIA lately - the anemia began to spiral out of control and my WL got put on the back burner. I decided that I would take a shot at just maintaing for December, and so far, I'm doing it! I haven't really counted points, but I will be starting back on that after the New Year.

to all of the new faces!

We are ready for Christmas around here! The twins keep running around singing "Jingle Bells" and saying "Is it time for Santa yet?" - all before 10 am!
The joy of being a child at Christmas!

Well I hope that ou are all doing well! Have a great Christmas

i have put off my plans for a long time with hopes of doing this in the new year since life has got in the way so much this year....although i am still waiting til after christmas i am starting to keep track of my points and for some reason that always keeps me in line and i stay within my points, i think its the fact that i'm actually writing it down that does it.

Well the day is starting out with a bang!, My oldest who flew in last night (26) and my youngest (16) have got the music cranked up and are watching a movie..go figure

blue my children are 26, 23 and 16...and I also have a 16 year old foster daughter so when I refer to my two youngsters at 16 I am talking about my daughter and foster daugher they have known each other since grades school so they are as close as two sisters could be.

texs glad to see you back and sorry your animia is going nuts. I think you and me4 have a solid plan to maintaine for the month. I will be happy if I can stay about the same weight through this week.

You know for this new year I am really going to try hard to not beat myself up about a gain

Well I am off to make some very high point manicotti that I will put in the oven later today. Today we don't count points that would be pointless LOL

I hope you all have a wonderful day with family/friends

Hi Everyone!
I am new here. I just ordered WW kit from ebay. It should be here next week and i hope to get started. I really have been noticing the effects my weight is having on my health and i want to get healthy again!I am a horrible dieter but I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant and managed to follow a very strict diet and lost over 50 lbs. I quickly gained it back after my son was born and I want to keep it off this time.
