How late in the day does everyone drink or eat? I was told not passed 7:00pm. Sometimes I do not get my water in, so I am still drinking late. What do other do?
I don't worry about it from a diet perspective. I do try not to eat anything heavy right before bed for sleep reasons.
I usually finish dinner about 7 or 730, sometimes later or earlier. I usually have a piece of fruit after (and sometimes a small piece of dark chocolate), at about 8 or maybe even 9 at the latest. I go to bed about 10. Hasn't affected my weight loss.
I've been trying not to eat after 7:30. Its a big change for me as I used to be a midnight snacker(sometimes I would wake up and walk to the fridge and stand there and snack!)It seems to be helping me shed weight
Thank you for the replys. I just figure if I ate after 7:00 it would go right to my butt. I think what I am doing is right with things. Most days I eat before 7:00 and I think my weight is coming off alright. So all is well.
guys you have 24 hrs to at your food. its the total consumed that counts not when its eaten. the whole nightime bs never made any sense to me unless a person is prone to bingeing late aat night&even at that just save some points for healthy snacks during the time when youd binge.
I'm now trying to eat my largest meal at lunch, and go lighter in the evening. Since I've reached a "certain age", I can't go to bed now after eating a heavy meal -- it just sits there and "talks" to me all night and I can't sleep.
We have dinner at 5:30 or 6, and I usually want a little snack by the time the babies are in bed at 8:30. I almost never eat junk food at that point though. A string cheese, a granola bar, a piece of toast...
I've been trying to not eat past 8, but my career choice doesn't always allow this. I"m a tattoo artist so I work somewhat-late into the night, sometimes getting home anywhere from 10:30-whenever business stops coming in the door! I have though, tried eating at normal times, and if I have to, snack a bit till 8 or 9 and then do water for the rest of the night.
I don't eat before a specific time. I have to go to bed full so dinner is usually my biggest meal. I save my calories for it and if I am still hungry after dinner later I eat a light snack before bed. I don't think it matters at what time you eat before... I think it is a little ridiculous.
LOL.... Well, I TRY to avoid water intake after 9:00 p.m. because I don't want to be running to the bathroom at 3:00 a.m. But there have been occasional night visits.
If I do eat anything after 8:00 at night, I make sure it isn't high in sodium, but otherwise, I don't think it matters. If you are hungry (really hungry, not bored) and you have points left, then it shouldn't be a problem.
