I really enjoy rice cakes but I am wondering about points. The WW guide sayd that 2 plain rices cakes are 1 point, I also bought the big point guide But, if you look at the bag (and I find all brands are the same) according to the calories and using my points finder, 1 rice cake is 1 point. So what is it really? What do you count it as?
Thanks
Diana
The WW guide has to take into account any and all brands of products it lists. So it has to consider higher-calorie/fat/whatever rice cakes in addition to the ones you've chosen. Because of this, they have to take an average (suppose you were wondering about one of the more fattening ones?) to cover themselves in any case.
Soooooo... you should always base your points on the product label if you have it. In your case, that means your rice cakes are only one point! Enjoy!
I just reread my post and realized that I thought you said the WW book said that a rice cake was 2 points (not 2 rice cakes for one point). Anyway, I still stand by what I wrote (even thought it sounds stupid); go by the product label whenever you can.
