Default Menu ideas?

Hi all,

My DH and I are both doing WWs (not going to meetings). We are both around 360 pounds, so we get plenty of points. But I wanted to know if any of you have great low point foods that you don't feel you can live without? I get bored easily, and chocolate has a HORRIBLE pull on me.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks
Real...

My dh and I are both doing WW. I go to meetings, but he doesn't.

I can't live without my Laughing Cow cheese. I probably only eat one wedge of it a day (it's only 1pt/wedge) but mmmmmmmmm...I just love it! Low fat ice cream, too (Edy's Double Churn that is 1/2 the fat is our favorite.) We also eat a lot of whole wheat pasta, lite whole wheat bread...I think a lot of our meals are "normal," it's just that we are very careful about weighing everything out and making sure that our portions are correct.

For meal ideas...omg, I could go on for days. I would highly recommend looking into the Light and Tasty magazines (or go online and get the 2007 Annual book...that one has a TREMENDOUS amount of fabulous recipes!)

If chocolate has such a pull on you (I'm more of a cake person myself) get it out of the house. Substitute things like low fat fudge bars (fudgesicles) or hot chocolate. Or if you are a daily menu planner like I am (I swear by it!) maybe if you get individually wrapped (small) pieces you can plan a piece in each day for a snack. If you plan it into your day, you will look forward to it, and enjoy it...not eat it and feel like you messed up.

Hope that helped some!
