Thanks Myra, Dianne & Terri. Another beautiful day. Getting ready to go for my walk. Since I've been off the past few days it's so nice walking in the morning. I'm so happy the fall is coming. I love Autumn.
I'm doing fine just busy with work and things around the house. It has been raining here for the last week. We got 11 inches of rain in 3 days. Fortunately we are not some of the unfortunate ones that live in an area that floods. We are on a hill.

I've remained the same as far as my weight (no loss/no gain) But I have not been sticking to the program like I should. I am getting ready to sign up for a WW special that will take me to the end of December. Hope I can be more committed this time. Went to the doctor Monday and had blood work done for my thyroid & cholestorol but I haven't got the results yet. He put me on a medication to slow my heartbeat. My heart beat at rest is 90-100. I get discouraged sometimes because I've battled my weight all my life and have never had the difficulty losing weight that I am now. Hopefully with fall coming on and cooler temperatures I will be able to get out and walk.
Well Charles just cooked lunch for us and I gotta go.
Joyce, it is much harder to lose weight now for me too. When I was in my 30's I useto lose it very fast. If you can start walking that will help. There's a couple of specials going on with WW.

Good luck with the test results. Cooler weather does make it much easier. Take care of yourself and I am glad to see you are commiting yourself. Stick with us and we will help each other. All of us.

I have been doing a lot of walking too. My parents have been visiting for the last couple of weeks and that has giving me the freedom to get out and do some additional walking in the evenings (while they watch Ellen), as well as my normal lunch time walks. Mom and dad are leaving today. That always fills me with mixed emotions. I can't stand the way they take over my house, but I do miss them when they are 3000 mi away.

I WI this morning. I lost 1.5# only one more to get back to where I was before Mom's cooking.
I hope you all had a great Labor Day. Personally I had a hard time getting back into working. Ellen is back in school now, and although she was very nervous about going back (having nightmares), she seems very happy to be back in her routine.
Keep up the good work everybody!!
Congrats on the weight loss, Janie. I'm hoping to WI tonight (lots of running around with first day of school but if I miss the meeting I could always go tomorrow night, I guess. But I like today's leader a lot better.)
