Tina, we had some rain last night and earlier this evening. Not as much as you though.

There was a sub at school today who just retired from teaching 3rd grade last year. She is going to be my sub on Tuesday. I'm very relieved that I made the decision.

Went to town earlier. Now my arms hurt from holding on to the steering wheel! Is this crazy or what?

Hey there,

Tammy, have they checked your thyroid? Silly question I know, but when my thyroid was too low, everything hurt. Glad you got a sub. Take as many days as you need.

Tina, did you get a bunch of rain? How is your mom doing?

Mimi, how are you doing?

Good news, we went to the dr. He said, little man's heart, lungs, skull and spine all look good. He has all of his fingers and toes too. So now, I have an MRI next week. The following week, I'll meet with a pediatric cardiologist just to double check his heart and for a fetal echo cardiogram. Then at 30 weeks, we'll meet with the surgeon. The doctor said "everything is looking really good" This appointment was so much bettter than last month.

Well, off to bed. I'm getting tired.

Tammy, I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling so badly. I hope you find out what it is and you can take care of it. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Take it easy girl! Definately let the guys take care of more around the house. I'm sure that they love you and won't mind. Take care....Sis

Susan, the doctor has never mentioned the thyroid. Maybe that's one of the things he is checking. There were so many things marked on the paper that I took to the hospital this morning, and I had no clue what most of them are.

Glad things are going well with Bubba!!! You have to feel better knowing all of this. Did you sleep better?

Sis, I was tempted to do laundry while Bob and Tim are at work. I went to WalMart after I had the bloodtests done this morning. Bob informed me that I should not be planning to go to the basement to do the laundry. I think he's on to me. lol I just took some medicine, so I'm going to go take a nap while the house is quiet. I'm worn out from going for the blood tests, to breakfast at McDonalds with Tim, and the trip to Wal Mart.

It's raining again today. The band is supposed to be playing at a racetrack about 30 miles north of here tonight. I think they'll get rained out. I was supposed to chaperone, but called and cancelled.

Hi Friends,

Hope all is well with you! Yes, I did sleep good last night! Thanks!!

Tammy, How long did the dr. say it would take to get the results back? I just want you to start feeling like yourself again. I know you feel awful!! So take it easy and try not to do anything. I'm glad that you cancelled the racetrack. You need to take care of yourself right now.

Tina, How are you?
Sis, What's new with you?

Pat's gone to practice and then to play. I might go out there for a little while tonight but don't really want to be around smoke. We went to a wedding this morning and my eyes have been running since. I just might go pick up some chinese food and then stay in for the evening.

Afternoon all,
Ooooh, Chinese food sounds very good, Susan.

Tammy, I'm glad Bob is "on to you." You do not need to be going up and down those stairs. So there!

Sis, are y'all having rain now?

It's been such a beautiful day. Unfortunately, we have these yellowish/gold mushrooms growing in the front yard. I went out and used a stick to poke them out of the ground. I don't like those things!!!!!
I was doing so good OP until Larry took me to Starbucks a few minutes ago. We were going to share a pumpkin scone but they didn't have any. He got a fudge brownie and I got a small piece of caramel cheesecake. There went my flex points . It was sooooo good that I'm trying not to feel bad about it.
Mimi, what are you doing today??
Anyone new to this thread? We'd love you to join in!

Susan, staying home with Chinese sounds great! I'm home and planning to grade some papers. Oh boy! I graded a few last night, but I haven't touched the math yet.

Tina, I think you called Bob and told him that I planned to do laundry!!!! lol

It has rained most of the day. It has stopped now. I'm glad for the band to be dry at the races. Feels funny not being with them tonight. I chaperone so often.

That's all for now. Need to get some grading done before I fall asleep.

Hi,
How was everyone's Sunday? We had a good day and both stayed OP.
Does anyone eat that Special K Vanilla Almond cereal? If you haven't tried it, I recommend it. We had that for breakfast. Then, we went to a cafeteria for lunch. We each had some kind of fish and 2 veggies.
For supper, I splurged and had a burger from a local shop. Larry had a chicken sandwich. Then, I had some ice cream. I have blood tests tomorrow and thought that might "up" my calcium level. It was good, too.

Everyone else talk now.

I haven't tried the Sp K V A cereal. Maybe I'll have to give it a try. Ice cream is good for the soul. I love that stuff. I bought some Blue Bunny Sugar Free Fudge Bars. Yummy!!!!!!!

Another Monday. Yesterday was a pretty lazy day. I slept late. didn't make it to church. We had sandwiches for lunch, and for supper we just grabbed whatever we felt like out of the fridge. No one felt like cooking, so it was a strange combination of foods. lol Bob said he had trouble sleeping last night because of the foods that he ate. He also ate popcorn about 10:00, so that may have been part of the problem.

Need to get ready for school.

Hi there,
Well I ended up getting my Chinese food but went to see Pat play for one set. It was fun but I was ready to come home. I paid for the Chinese food with LOTS of swelling in my feet and hands. I hate it!!

The cereal sounds good. I love cereal and can eat it for just about any meal.

Tammy, I'm glad that you got some rest!! You need to get lots of it. When will your results come back.

I go on Thursday for my MRI and next Friday to the pedriatic cardiologist. Glad those things will be behind me.

Have a great evening.

Susan, swelling in hands and feet is not good. No more Chinese food for you.

The nurse called yesterday afternoon. She said my glucose level was 107! It was 130 in December. Apparently I'm doing something right. Another test should that my enzyme levels that were elevated are now in the normal range. She asked if I was feeling better. I told her that I hurt as bad or possibly worse than I did when I was in the office a couple weeks ago. I have an appointment at noon today. I'm so glad that I got a sub to cover me on the field trip.

Let us know (I'm sure you will) about the MRI and appointment.

Hope everyone is doing great!

Hi,

Tammy, I'm glad your glucose levels are down. So that is wonderful!!! I just wish you weren't hurting!!

My dad took the wrong insulin the other nignt and fell broke 2 ribs. They ( my mom and sister) gave him 2 large glasses of OJ and 8 tablespoons of Karo to get he back to normal. It's pretty scary!!!!

It's a beautiful day here in north Texas. Glad there is only 1 week and 1/2 of school left.

Hi all,

Susan, I'm so sorry about your dad. That was scarey, I'm sure.

Tammy, I hope they find out what is causing the pain.

Sis, Maureen, and Mimi----what's going on?????

I had a very hard day emotionally. It has been almost one year since my father-in-law was found dead in his home. (They called me on my birthday!) My cat has been throwing up all his food with hairballs. He doesn't feel well tonight. My mother is so "out of it" that she was so ugly to me today. I usually don't let it hit me as hard as it did today.

On a bright note.....I stayed within my points today.

I'll be cheerier tomorrow.

Here I am, your little ray of sunshine! Not today.
I'm so upset tonight. I took my cat to the vet. She felt something large in his stomach. Hopefully, it's just a hairball. I take him back tomorrow for an x-ray.
I haven't eaten much today.

Hope everyone else is fine.
Susan, how are you and the baby?
