Lil - WELCOME!! Weight Watchers is excellent. If you weigh 180 - then you should eat 24 points each day. You also have 35 flex points to use anyway you like... so if you splurge on the weekend, you can use your flex points. Once you fall below 175, your new points target will be 22 points. try and get your hands on a PointsFinder if you don't already have one.

Well hello all... get out and VOTE today if you're one of those in the 10 Super Tuesday states!!!

Other than that... weigh in is today and I'm SCARED. Very scared. I'm sure I'm up which is just awful because each time I see the scale up I get more and more discouraged. I know this sounds like an excuse, but after Brian and I get back from New Hampshire I'm going gung-ho. I'm going to try the fast track and I'm going to exercise and I'm going to lose 5 pounds by the end of march if it kills me!

SO.... I made my tape for Extreme Make-over last night. I filled out my application. It's due on Friday. I'm going to send it out express mail tomorrow morning. I have to get my pictures back to include. It's just worth a shot you know. Although I'm afraid if they pick me, they'll want to reconstruct my face... and I just want my body done. Not that I don't think my face could use some improvements ha ha... but I just would feel so weird if I didn't look like me.

Alright... come out come out where-ever you are!

Hello All! I started lurking yesterday and HAD to come back. How is everyone? I am doing well. Dh and I are finally in our home which means things are semi-normal and work is slowing down a bit. I have managed to keep the weight off that I lost before the holidays but I haven't lost anymore I am still hovering around 189. I thought I should get my butt back on here and get inspired! I need to lose about 35lbs. My MIL gave me her treadmill last week so I have started jogging on that. I also joined the self challenge and I "heard" Belle talking about it yesterday also. I hope that all of these things including the ever improving weather will motivate me towards success. Our 1 year anniversary is in 3 wks. I cannot believe that we have been married for a year already. I would like to drop a few pounds before then even though I weigh the same now as when we were married I am sure it would just make me feel accomplished

What is this fast track that everyone is talking about? I am not going to meetings. I am just following at home and I haven't heard about it.

Lisa~ Try not to stress about WI. Just determine that regardless of what the scale says you will PRESS ON. I have always felt that way about the extreme makeovers too. I think I would miss myself if that makes sense. Well I will check in again later. I hope that everyone is doing well. I have missed this place!!!!

Hey girls!

Just time for a quick post right now, I have lots of threads to catch up on. I've been MIA this past week because I bought a condo!! Well, I'm in the process of, so I've had a ton of stuff going on. Between paperwork, appts and this big work project, I[ve been swamped. Anyway, I'm going to skim through what's been going on, and I'll BBL.

Hey gang!!!

Becky: hey sweetie. Its funny how you mentioned the Fast Track today because I just started my new week today and have decided to do it.
It basically goes like this for a week; instead of your regular points you only have 20 a day and no flexpoints for the week. Its to help jump start a weight loss. But like i said you can have ONLY 20 points a day for a week. They suggest that you only do it for up to 2 weeks at a time.So this week I have decided to do it because I keep struggling with the same 2 lbs.

So I am going to do it this week and if i am still struggling I will do the second week. But if I am struggling for a month again (at a later date) I will do the Fast track again. Its hard; I tried it once and couldn't do it.But I have more confidence in myself now.

If you decide to do it; let me know? Remember Veggies are 0 points....

Morning everyone!!

Keir - sounds like a rough day. We'll be keep them in our thoughts. here's a cyber hug <<<<<<<HUG>>>>>>>>> Hope you feel better.

Lynnie - I asked my leader about the flexpoints and she suggests using them if necessary. Basically, she says about 75% of "losers" use half or more of their flex points in a week so if I'm using them and it's working, I should still use at least half of them otherwise my body will go into "starvation mode" and not lose. I did it last week and it went well and I've continued this week so we'll see on Saturday. I used ALL my flexpoints with my weekend food though so this will be interesting. Other people don't use them and still lose - just a thought depending upon how it works for you. Maybe you can do the first week without flexpoints and the second with to get you back to your regular points range. The thing I've found about the fast tracks is it really encourages me to get in all my fruits and veggies.

Becky - on the flex points topic - they have 2 sets of daily mealplans one for higher carb and one for higher protien. and you pick one thing from each list for each meal. Hard to describe but it works very well.

Lexxy - what's the condo like!?! Give us the scoop!!!

Lisa - I'm sure WI will be fine. If nothing else, then just getting yourself there is an accomplishment. Let us know what happens. It would be so cool to see you on extreme makeover!!

My sisters and the babies are in the air as I type. I'm so excited it's not funny. My mom has cribs and baby swings and diapers and toys waiting for them and tomorrow I will be holding all three babies!! YAY!!! Maybe I'll get a chance to post a picture from my dad's computer. We'll see.

Had this morning off as comp time for working Sunday. I could sooooo be a stay at home girlfriend.

For some reason my weight is back up to 144 - it had dropped to 141.6 last week. It's not my eating (per my journal) or TOM so I'm wondering if my body is hanging onto water. I don't think I've eaten anything excessively salty but I did increase the amount of weight I'm using in my work-out's and wonder if my muscles are holding water. Does that sound right to anyone or am I in denial?

Becky! So glad to see you back babe! Did you and hubby finally buy a house?

Lexxy - Congrats on the condo.

Lynnie - Good luck with Fast Tracks. I'm sure that you can do this. Let us know how it goes.

Kierie - I'm sorry to hear about your FIL and "father". I will be sure to keep them in my thoughts. Here's the hug you said you needed Wish it could be the real thing.

KT - Have fun with your nieces and sister! How is the niece that is ill? Hope things are taking a turn for the better.

Lisa - What is Extreme Makeover? Why are you auditioning? Aren't you excited about this coming weekend?

Not much going on in my life. I'm working the 2nd job a couple times this week. Looking to buy a bike and the discount will help with that. The joys of working in a sporting goods store. Last night we did a 2 Mile walk outside - it was gorgeous and nice to get CB out there with me. This morning I did a section of Firm Abs, Lower Body Sculpt I and Upper Body Sculpt. I consider myself an intermediate exerciser but the Upper Body Sculpt nearly killed me! I had to pyramid down on weight and still couldn't always finish all the reps. I'm hoping we can repeat the walk again tonight.

Later.

Hi Grace... welcome back and thanks so much for the words on encouragement. I was needing them.

Hey Lynnie... so fast track has worked for you? I want to do it, but the first time I tried it I was so hungry. I'm with you. I've had these same two pounds go off and come back on for 8 weeks now... it's frustrating... but you know what. As long as we stick with it, it will eventually come off. It's when we stop trying that we fail.

KO - I'll be thinking of you and your family. I'm so sorry. Hang in there babe and let us know if we can do anything.

HEY KT!!! Have so much fun with the babies... what a wonderful week you'll have. Enjoy your family and definately send pictures.

HEY Laura! OMG! I'm so excited for this weekend that I can hardly wait. I get all excited and find it hard to work You've never heard of extreme makeover??????? Holy cow! It's a reality show... and each week they pick two people to make-over. But not just hair, make-up and clothing... like EVERYTHING. Tummy tucks, nose jobs, teeth whitening, lasik eye surgery, etc. I thought it was worth a shot to get all this extra skin taken off. Otherwise I doubt I'd EVER be able to afford it. It's a fun show... I am addicted to watching it!

SOOO..... went to WI and I was down 1.3!!!! YAY! Although, it's this same 1-2 pounds I keep playing with over and over again. My goal is to fall below 130 before the end of March... I need to break that barrier.

Alright... come back later.
