Hi Turtles!

I had a good WI at WW's and am very happy. WW's has hit again on something I think I can be successful with. Long ago I did very well and lost 25# in one year with the CORE program WW offered then. I know I don't do well with bread and I find it a real trigger food. So, with WW's offering the Purple Plan
with more zero point foods that I can use and fewer points, I think I will make this new twist work. I don't know how many of you did this: Got thru the day with zero point foods, felt comfortable and had about 8+ points leftover at the end of the day. For some reason I couldn't let that rest, and I would eat and use up some points at the end of the day. Therefore my weight loss was slow and sometimes I gained. Haven't done well in a very long time.

Now, although I still have a lot to lose and re-lose, I feel I can make the Purple plan work for me. If you haven't had a chance to learn about the new green, blue, and purple plans on WW check them out on the website. I wish everyone success.

Had a great weekend. for dh on Friday, to NYC to see Tootsie on Sat. and reconnect with my college roommate and her husband, and then dinner out again on Sunday to wrap up the birthday weekend. All fun and I didn't gain weight. Checked into my cell for Purple plan and immediately started working it and I think this could be the one! It is clearcut and although I certainly won't reach goal this year I can knock off another 10# between now and Christmas and that's my new goal.

Best to all of you. Sorry this got so long, but I do like the new program. : and : to you Turtles wherever you are.

Hi Turtles,
I am getting very much "into myself" on this site, but to let you know I did lost 2# this week after losing 1.2# the week before. First real loss not yo=yoing in a long time.
Wishing you all the best. I love the platitudes like Onward and Downward, and Keep on Keepin' on. We can do this. We deserve to be healthy. It's just finding a way to do that.
Yay and

Hi Turtles,
To those of us in USA Happy Thanksgiving!! I love thinking of the Pilgrims and Indians and the Mayflower and Plymouth and all the things we were taught in elementary school. This is one of my favorite holidays. It's changed over the year as my family has changed, but it's still good. Sending good cheer and good food! And whatever pounds appear, let them fly away quickly.

Love the Purple Program and lost another 1.8# this week. It is exactly the kind of food plan that works for me when I make it work.
All the best to all of you. : and Do the best you can and chime in to say hello. Getting mighty lonely here.

Happy New Year!!!!!
If I am the only person who posts here and if I'm the only one who reads this, who cares? I am determined to reach goal this year. The new purple version of WW's can work for me. Now to make that happen...………..as in NOW is the time to make that happen.

Good luck to all! I've been posting here for a long time and have made nice progress with many downs and ups. This is the moment to go ahead and finish this journey!!!!!

All the best to all of you!

Hello to all (all two of your right now LOL)
I started WW purple before Christmas, and finally, finally got my frist 5lb charm....so I think that qualifies me for turtldom(?)
I have been with 3FC for years now and post over on one of the other support groups which has all types of plans. It can be really cool to see how others adapt and make it work for them. For me I think the purple ww is my ideal fit.

So I do go to the gym on a regular basis too and <cough cough> work hard most days

So my weight in day is Saturday morings.

I have a question? Since I am new to meeting (not ww program) what is you do not click with your facilitator? She (in the 5 weeks I have been going) never once introduced herself to the group even at the sttart of the meetings. I had to go online to find her name with that studio! I would like to know more about her other than she is employed by ww.....should I ask? or is there a place to go to ask someone to please point out to her (especially that first weigh in after the new year- no intro) to say you are only doing a mediocore job?

I know what a good facilitator should be doing and the pitfals (part of my former job)

advice????

Hi Nancy. I must say I am so happy and also shocked that you chimed in. Thanks. Getting mighty lonely here. Good luck to you on your journey.

As far as Purple, I too think this is a good fit for me and finally was able to shake off the 200# mark. Good luck to you.

About your WW coach...……...I'm really surprised she doesn't intro herself, etc. Guess you can ask if you're interested. I think I would switch to another meeting and find a coach who knew how to do it. Just sayin'.

Have a great week! :
Judy I'm going over to the latest thread. Hope to see you there Nancy.
