Default I'm back........

Hi Y'all WOW, what a change in this place!! It looks great!! Boy, I sure missed being here....ok, vacation was great and there was some good, some bad. The bad is that I gained 5 pounds!!
The good is that, between my husbands Vegas business trip 3 weeks ago and this vacation (stopping in Shreveport and Biloxi on the way), he has won $2500!!! Woo Hoo!! What a man!!!

I've read all your posts and I apologize for not responding to each of them. I got my first day back to work in today and I'm exhausted. I just wanted to stop in, say hi and that I'm back ~ hopefully, I'll be back to normal here in the next day or so. As for the diet, I got back on track today......5 pounds....holy cow.....I got some work to do, huh??

Hope everyone is well and staying focused.

Hi guys,

Terri -- I went to profile, etc. but it looks like it hasn't worked for me. I'll keep trying. I picked the celtic icon (since I'm half Irish).

Hey Zoe -- Welcome back -- hope you had a great time, don't worry about those 5 lbs. You enjoyed yourself, that's what vacations are for. Now you know what you gotta do and you'll have it off in no time.

Hi Essie, Jen & Myra - talk to you all soon. I have to figure this thing out, or it will drive me nuts!

Zoe, WELCOME BACK!!!! Like Dianne said, you know what you gotta do. Don't forget your water. I remember back in the day I lost 7 lbs. in 1 week!!! It can be done. The most important thing is that you're continuing to stay OP. Good to have you back.

See Dianne, I knew you can do it. Eventually I would like a different one. They don't have a big selection but what they have are nice.

Have a great day everybody.

Hi everyone!

Boy, it looks like I've got lots of catching up to do.

Myra, what a great compliment you received. Apparently even though the scale hasn't moved, you're reshaping your body. Have you noticed your clothes fitting differently? Way to go!!

Essie, it's good to see you posting more often! The decision your brother presented you with sounds tempting. I've always played it safe, and was afraid of change (as evidenced by my staying at my job for 24 yrs.!), it can be scary. I'm sure you'll make the right choice.

Zoe, glad you enjoyed vacation, congrats to your "rich" hubby! You'll do great in losing that vacation gain....go for it!

Terri and Dianne, hi! I've been fairly busy, began last night to check out the icons, etc. Thanks for the tips, Terri. I like the Celtic icon, but don't want to duplicate yours, Dianne, so I'm chosing the jewel, kind of funky and 70's...reminds me of the paisley Nehru jackets! LOL

Have a great OP day everyone.

~Jen

Jen - the jewel is cool You made me laugh, because I liked the butterfly but I didn't want to duplicate Essie! LOL. Don't worry, you can use the celtic if you want -- no prob.

Hope everyone's having a great day!

Hi Guys

What a day I had! My brother's offer is sounding more tempting. I was on a switchboard all morning & I think every nasty person that lives in Long Island called today!!!

Dianne, so you like the butterfly I'm going to change it at some point. I have to find out how to get an angel or a flower. On the other threads I see a couple that are really cool. We can both be butterflies. I don't mind sharing

Jen, you've been at your job 24 years? WOW!! That'll probably be me. I wish I could work at home.

Zoe, you go with your packed lunch, water, & day 2 OP. The minute I felt the stress coming on today I grabbed a piece of cake that was left over from a meeting. It was soooooo good. I'll hate myself tomorrow.

Hi Myra & Terri.

Have a goodnight ladies.

Good Evening Ladies ~

Day 2 staying OP. I know this isn't such a big thing but after being so OFF for 9 days, it isn't easy. Tonight we had veggie burgers. I never used to like them but there is one kind that I really love.....so that's what we ate tonight.

I'm finally getting used to my son not living at home. Well, maybe not really used to it but better. He works from home some of the week and the rest of the week, in the office for the same company my husband and I work for so I do get a 'peek' at him now and then.

Thanks for all the 'pep talk' Y'all gave me. I know that I'll get that 5 pounds off fast. I usually can take a "vacation gain" and get rid of it in the first week so I'm not really worried. I am working up towards drinking all my waters. Today I had 50 ounces at work. I was drinking 60+ each day before leaving the office so I need to get back up to that.

Well, time to relax. It's been a long week already. There is so much to do BEFORE vacation and also, AFTER ~

Here's to a great rest of the week to all of you.

Good Morning

Zoe, you'll be just fine. Which veggie burgers do you buy? I'm not crazy about them but I do eat them. I have Boca Burgers in my freezer. All I do is look at them.

Dianne, I changed my butterfly so you can have the other one.

See "you's" later

Essie,
I quit my job last September....am currently enjoying being unemployed. I really kind of got burned out (worked retail for 24 yrs.), and needed the time off. The timing was perfect, no more tuition after putting both kids through private schools for almost 20 years! At any rate, it's something quite a few people don't understand.......since I'm not raising young children, and am not old enough to be a retiree, it's confusing to some that I'm at home rather than having to join the rat race every day. But I'm loving it right now! Who knows what the future holds. If I become bored (seems highly unlikely at this point ) I'll look for a job.

I've got a package of frozen veggie burgers in the freezer that I've never tried. My SIL gets some from Sam's Club that she loves, they're fresh ones made from black beans. My frozen ones are probably too old now.

Hope everyone has a great day......hi to all!

~Jen

p.s. Dianne, the jewel is growing on me......the celtic is all yours !

Thanks Essie -- but for now, since St. Paddy's Day is coming up, I think I will keep the Celtic icon. Must show my pride in my 1/2 Irishness! But that was very "sharing" of you to give up your HUGE butterfly, LOL

Hi Jen, (glad you're used to your funky jewel, LOL -- I think its

Hi Zoe, Terri and Myra - hope everyone's doing well.

Talk to "yous" later.

Hi

Jen, that's my dream. Not having to work anymore. I've been working all my life. I only had a break when my son was born & not for long. Enjoy it girlfriend

Dianne, I really wanted my icon to be a rose but I couldn't get it for some reason. It's so pretty. This weekend I'll have more time to play around with the icons.

Well my friends, have a relaxing evening.

Good Morning

Thank God it's Thursday! I think on WW General thread I read that Rosie O'Donnell is on WW. I like her alot. I don't get to watch her show as much as I would like to but I watch her Friday mornings. Way to go Rosie.

I just want to wish everyone a great day.

Be back later
