KT - Yeah I didn't think you were married but I didn't even think that it could have been a sister's husbands dad. Hope your Dad and neice are doing better.

Rina - Maybe the owner will just hand the business over and you will all be partners in it? That is an option isn't it? Don't stress too much, think of what the owner is going through. That must be really tough.

Jen - Sorry I missed you! Hello! How is the PG going? Are you ready for it to be over yet?

So I went to the gym again yesterday and resisted the woodhcuck cider that Jay bought yesterday. For all you girls who drink cider, it is 4 points per glass, not 3 like beer. I only had a sip, and that was enough for me. I'm going to try deperately to save room for one tonight!

A friend and I are going to Ruby Tuesday's today. I love that place because all I ever get is the salad bar and they have a lot of stuff you can choose from. I usually get the salad bar and soup. The only problem is resisting the chocolate pudding thats at the salad bar too!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good Morning! It is such a beautiful day here in Maine today. It smells just like spring outside. I am going to wash my sheets and hang them on the line. We have had the longest coldest winter I can remember in my 16 years here. I'm ready for it to be over. My WI is tonight and I am expecting to lose all of the weight I gained last week-all 4 lbs of it . At least I hope so. Maybe if I drink enough coffee today it will all come out in the loo. But really, I have stuck to my points this week so I hope I do good.

KT-I hope your father and neice are doing OK. Wow-what a lot of stuff to take in between funerals and sickness. I'll be thinking of you.

Rina-Hope evrything works out for you at work and I hope your boss doesn't suffer. She must be devastated. Cancer is a horrible thing, maybe by the time our great grandkids grow up they will have found a cure.

Jen-Hi-I guess I misssed your post day before yesterday. Hope everything is going OK.

Good morning Lori and Robin (and everyone else!)

It is a beautiful day here too, Robin! Wisconsin has been incredibly cold this winter, so it is just awesome to hit 36 degrees today, it is suppose to be 60 this weekend, everyone will be wearing shorts!!

I am trying to get my work done, finish some school work, and get home by lunch. My DD has early release from school today, so I will be working from home this afternoon.

I have been really OP this week. Still not as much exercise as I would like, but I am journalling, staying within my points, and drinking my water. I guess exercise will come.

I would like to be down to 150 by the middle of April.

I started taking a multivitamin yesterday. I have never been a vitamin taker, but when I really watch what I eat, even though I stay in my points range, many times I get tired during the day, so I though the vitamin would help with that. It is the new "One a Day for Weight Control", it is suppose to help boost your metabolism. I don't know if it will do anything for weight loss, but I will give it a shot!!

Well, I better get some work done, BBIAB!!

hi robin, lori, tonya and all those about to post!
i am having trouble typing cos my fingers keep shaking! i did a "circuit success" class at the gym there and i think the bicep curls have done something funny to my muscles!!! 2 of my coworkers have told me it's a sign my body needs some food - talk about a red rag to a bull! anyhow. i've had my lunch now and hopefully my hands will stop shaking soon!
oh, and a very annoying thing happened to me yesterday. i went to get more of the pill and hopped on the scales as requested. now, last time i went to this clinic the scales were at least 7 pounds out - in my favour. i told them at the time that i thought their scales were wrong and the nurse (who, to be kind, is rather overweight) said they were fine. of course, someone must have fixed them cos this time i weighed what i should have (and that was with jeans and boots on!). so i was fine about the numbers but then the nurse turns to me, with a gleeful smile, and says "ooh, you've put on weight!". she was such a b*tch! i said i knew i hadn't, actually, and that i was glad to see they'd fixed their scales. i was nice though, and didn't comment about her weight, but oh i was tempted cos she was being so rude about mine!
jayne - new orleans sounds amazing. hope it didn't affect your WI too much! i sympathise with you about the friends situation. it's not that you want to do these things, it's just horrible feeling left out and uninvited.
laura - keep plugging away at eating healthily and the numbers will fall! it's very frustrating when you're good and nothing seems to change. but keep at it. that's what i'm telling myself!!
tonya - did you post pics of your new place? hooray on the half pound. next week you'll do even better i'm sure. enjoy the spa! oh, and let us know if the multivitamin boosts your metabolism!
rina - glad to hear your hubby is going to join you in being healthy! it's still winterish but spring is almost here in london. i hope! good luck with the building situation at work.
kt - sorry to hear about your family. i hope your dad and niece are better soon.
jenl - how you doing, are you feeling better? how are things at work?
lori - enjoy the cider - hope you save enough points!!
gotta go work,
kirsty

Default Morning!

Hi everyone. I went to WI last night and I guess all the stress is good for something cause I went down 2#! I forgot how quickly the weight fell off when I first joined WW last time. After WI I went up to the hospital to see my dad (who does not want company in any way shape or form) - They did a scope yesterday and found what they believe is a small benign (non-cancerous) tumor in his stomach. They did a biopsy to be sure and they will do a CAT scan today to see if there's anything else so we are a little relieved. My niece will have surgery tomorrow to adjust her feeding tube (she has a tube in her stomach for supplimental feeds because she hasn't been gaining weight since her kidney transplant over a year ago) so things are looking up. At least we have an idea of what's going on instead of just sitting around waiting. And I slept last night so it's all good. Thanks for all your good thoughts.
Lori - I LOVE salad bars! There aren't any good ones around here though. Have a fun night.
Robin - hope you have a great WI and I'm jealous of your outdoor dryer. It rains so much here that we don't get to do a whole lot of outdoor drying until summer really hits.
Tonya - every multivitamin I've taken has made me uncomfortable (either retains water or really doesn't and you're running to the loo every few minutes.
Kirsty - I hate people like that nurse. She was probably happy that a skinny person had gained weight.
Hi Rina
OK, it's break time. I'll be back.
KT

Good morning everyone!!!! Yesterday was my WI and once again, I am exactly the same. Normally I would be very happy with this, but in reality I was pretty upset. If I had just stayed OP I would have been down.

I do so good Tuesday-Friday and then it all goes to **** QUICKLY on the weekends. I've decided that I really need to stay OUT of the kitchen unless I am cooking a meal. I walk through and it just happens, the food literally jumps right out at me and forces me to eat it. What am I susposed to do? LOL

Here is crossing my fingers and hoping that I can really stay OP the rest of the week!!!

Sorry Wendy, and Robin I mixed you guys up in my post, I've corrected it now. For going off-plan, staying the same is great. now you have even more motivation to stay OP for the weekend. I used to WI on Saturdays and then I'd be horribly bad all weekend thinking I could make up for it during the week. Now I'm more accountable for my weekend eating. YOU CAN DO IT!

Hey girls!

Lori I had no idea cider was worth more - I have that cider and grenadine drink - yum!! Darn!!

Tonya - I have been taking Bcomplex and its helping with the energy thing...lemme know how yours goes!!

Kirsty - you remind me I have a physical today - pap and all - and that means I get weighed by the nurse. I always hate watching them do that!! And the scale thre is always OVER the WW scale....by about 6lbs. So I dread this! Your story made me laugh - that woman must be so jealous she can't see straight! How rude is that?? Good for you for having the self control to bite your tongue...

KT - woo hoo on your loss!!

Wendy - dont' worry about staying the same - its a good thing! KT is right - now you knw you'll be down when you are OP next week.

I have to run to the university to do a communications career fair - not that we are hiring (?) and then to the doc...

Have a good OP day!!
