Please evryone read Dianne's post on the second page of #37.

Dianne,
That is so tragic! That makes me so mad and I can only imagine how you feel. That poor baby. Caught in the middle of all of that. What gives this woman the right to be this way. I am so sorry! What is your next step? How does she treat the baby?
Could your son go for custody if he decides to leave? How is his mom handling it? Sorry for all of the questions.
How are you doing? You and your husband?
If you need anything we are here!

Jen,
I didn't want to eat that low. I got so busy with this "baby". I swear he is as much work as a baby. I don't get hunger pangs except in the morning. I get tired and then I don't eat. Go figure!
It is hard to give up family dinner time but you have to do what is best you. I love the meal conversations though. We try to have it 3 nights a week. No t.v. on at that time.

Essie,
Good luck! You can do it. You aren't whining and even if you were that is why we are here. LOL Kiss that chihuahua. I'll have to check your church out on t.v.

Zoe,
I usually eat 22-24 points a day. I just can't eat when I am tired. I would rather sleep. LOL Never thought I would say that.
Kiss that puppy. I would love to see that combo.

I didn't go to my weigh-in today. Snowed overnight and the city basically shuts down with any accumulation. I found out the leader didn't make it in and only a handful showed up. Still op though! Weighed myself and down about 1.5 pounds.

Hi Myra!
TTYL,
Terri

Dianne, welcome back. I was starting to worry about you. This is why I'm constantly praying that my son meets someone that's good to him & gets along with us. My SIL useto do that to my Dad when he was alive. She would try & keep the kids from him whenever she got mad knowing how much he loved those kids. She's changed alot. Too bad my Dad isn't around to see it. Maybe your nephew will see the light someday.

Terri, I never got the chance to get my son's digital camera so you can see my face. I'll still keep trying. It does make it much easier when you see someone's picture. Can't wait to see Tanner's. I know he's going to be a cutie!!

Well, hubby just got home. Be back tomorrow.

Dianne,
my heart goes out to you and your family in having to put up with that woman. It's such a sad thing to see manipulation going on like that. All you can do is hope for the best. Good luck.

My son is 22, and lives at home. He's not dating anyone, and for now, that's fine with me. There are so many unstable people out there, let's face it. It's sad but true.

I walked again today..that makes 5 days in a row that I've walked/exercised. Feels good, and I'm happy that I made myself do it. I've just got to keep it up.

Terri,
good loss! Did you get alot of snow? Our is melting, down to about 10 inches out there now. I'm definitely ready for spring! All the gardening catalogs are arriving in the mail.

Zoe,
that's quite a menu!!! Who's birthday? That's one big challenge we all face, the dreaded parties. All we can do is our best, it's better than before we started WW, and didn't care what we ate

Hi to Myra, thinking of you.

Hope you all enjoy your Sunday,
~Jen

Hi Essie,
Can't wait to see your picture! I got Tanners today. They came out good. He is a teddy bear.

Jen,
Thanks! Only got about 2 in. but the town freaks out because the red clay under the ground is very slick and we don't have enough trucks, equip. in general because it rarely snows.
Great job walking. That is wonderful. Way to exercise.
My brother was divorced twice (lives next door to my mom) and she would sooner he stayed single now.

Hi Dianne, Zoe and Myra! Have a great Sunday!

I'm home for a bit, getting dressed for this birthday party tonight. The food/buffet will be:

Cocktail hour with brie, shrimp (I hate shrimp), a cream cheese spread, different other cheeses and crackers. The
Dinner buffet ~ chicken marsala (WW book says 4oz is 15 pts... ..), beef wellington medallions, new potatos, green beans almondine, amaretto cake, birthday cake and rolls. I'm dead meat ~ HA! My weight loss has been so big that I am worried next Wednesday night will be a low-loss. Hey, it's bound to catch up with me, right?

Dianne ~ So nice to "see" you again! I'm so sorry about your situation with your grandson and your step sons situation. I know from my own personal experiences that these relationships can be crushing to all involved. I am praying for it all. It's good that you did get to see him.

Well, gotta run. Hi Jen, Terri, Essie and Myra.....have a great "rest of your Saturday"

Again sorry!

Jen,
Did you get more snow last night? We got nearly another foot! Just came in from shoveling. What a job, but a good way to earn those activity points. But the snow just adds to my feeling of isolation that I feel anyway without a car. We were supposed to visit come friends upstate today. Well, that's off. I hate winter. So hard to plan.

I hope all are well.

Myra! Good luck with the rest of the winter. We had 3 days of non stop rain. If that would have been snow. WOAH! That shoveling is hard work. Good for you!

Goodmorning

Popped in to say hello. My doors are frozen so I can't get to work. The sun is starting to come up so hopefully it'll be warm enough so I can open at least one door. We got quite a bit of snow yesterday now everything is frozen.

Myra, where do you live? My sister has a house in PA & they always get alot of snow. She couldn't take it anymore so she moved next to me. I can walk to her apartment. Eventually she'll have to sell her house cause it's hard to pay mortgage plus the rent. She makes good money but her husband is an alcoholic & is always getting fired. Once they went to check the house & the snow was up to their windows . I know what you mean about the winter, it's unpredictable.

Terri, Tanner is adorable.

I hate sitting around like this. I'm getting too comfortable & soon I won't want to go to work.

Well, let me read the other threads.

Be back later. Have a great day.

Love,
Essie

hi guys:

Thanks all for your words of understanding. It's a difficult situation and I can only hope and pray that it gets better. No one wants to see this baby used as a weapon, but we are helpless in the situation.

Terri: my step-son has been told by all of us that if he leaves her he can of course support the baby and get visitation rights. But, he does'nt want to leave the baby and I guess we can't blame him. As far as we can tell, she loves the baby and treats him well, he's a one of her things, like our step-son and so I'm sure she's obsessed with him too. The thing is if we want to see the baby we have to put up with her and right now none of us is willing to do that, so who knows what will happen. I think he stays there to make sure the baby is safe.

Well, I don't know if I lost anything this week, because my weigh in was Sunday and due to the snow, the center was closed.

Hope you are all doing well. Will talk to you soon.

Oh, Terri - Tanner is adorable, just like you said, he looks like a teddy bear! Soooooooo cute. Good luck with him.

Dianne

I live in Monroe, NY just about an hour north of NYC in Orange County. This is the worst winter in about four years here. I just want that snow to stop.

Myra and Essie,
You really got dumped on with that snow! I was thinking of you when I saw the national weather. We've been lucky with beautifully sunny days. Cold, but that's ok. The snow that's still here is that nasty black along the roads, etc. Definitely not pretty anymore! Be careful shovelling.

Have an appt. tomorrow morning, couldn't get out of it, so I'm not going to weigh in till Friday morning. I don't want to go to any other leader except the one I have and Fri. is her next meeting. So I'll post it here on Fri., my loss, I mean!

Hope everyone has a good day. Will check in later.

Hi All!
My Monday was busy. Let's see:
1 Dr. appt. (Brandon) 1 dentist (Brittany) and 1 vet visit. I am sick of waiting rooms.

Thanks for your kind words about Tanner. I hope you don't mind me sending the picture to you since I have you in my contacts.

I am so happy to hear all of the positive things coming out about the program. I bought the WW bonus buddy. It is a cool little gadget. I had one of their old ones that I used all of the time. It keeps track of your earned points, how far you walked/jogged, calories etc...
TTYL,
Terri
