Hey all! This is going to have to be a quickie post because I have to do an ENTIRE lab writeup tonight. AARGH! I hate summer session. Walked into lab today and oh, the writeup will be due tomorrow instead of Monday. Loooong evening ahead. So the diet has been going medium well. Not eating well enough to lose, but not badly enough to gain either. Just moved house, and one of my housemates keeps all this junk around (oreos, chips, etc.) I have been managing not to eat it but sometimes it is just so tempting. I keep telling myself that a) it's not my food so leave it alone dammit! and b) if I eat that stuff pretty soon I will be looking like my housemate, who is a sweetie but could really do with losing some serious weight. The funny thing is, a lot of this food is here because her mom went on this super low carb diet and CAN'T eat any of this stuff anymore, so she just came over and told us to have it. I think that's really kind of horrible of her mom. I mean, I don't think low carb is really the way to go, but if you think that's the best way to lose weight and your daughter very obviously needs to lose weight, why go and give her all the stuff that you can't eat? Seems like you WANT her to gain weight. Ok, enough of the ranting.
On the bright side, I have set myself a timetable. Past couple of weeks I have been trying to tell myself hey, if you just starve for the next month you will be practically at goal in no time. Which is stupid. It took a whole semester to gain this weight, it is going to take some time to lose it. So, I have set 1 November as my goal date. I will be 145 by then or else! It means I have to lose 15 pounds, so a little less than a pound a week, which should be totally doable if I exercise hard and eat right. I really really want to do this, but I am totally going to need some support from you guys! Ack, this has turned into a monster post.

Just wanted to add that I was looking at the photo thread and you are all looking FABULOUS.

Winter- about the guy you don't really like and the friend. I know this sounds sort of horrible, but do you have a friend you think would like the guy? Perhaps you could fix them up. If you are still up for being friends with him he must be pretty decent, and everybody is somebody's type. Don't force it or anything though!
