Does anyone else get wierd email notifications for the photo thread? I've gotten 3 this morning already, and no one else has posted today - maybe they are on serious delay. I finally got my pic to post, wohoo.
So it's another short but crazy week for me. I am driving home to Mass for my future sis-in-law's shower. I'm planning on leaving Thursday night at like 1am. Sounds nuts, but I have an eye dr. appt. Friday afternoon, and I think I'll be too tired to leave straight from work tomorrow - so I'll go home and take a nap. I made a real dr. appt for this afternoon to get this mono or whatever I have taken care of once and for all. It's ridiculous that I've felt off for a month now and I want to be better for when I go to key west in 2 weeks!!!
I guess JenK is still in Italy - I'm going to Chipotles for lunch today I think! I promised myself I could go there for lunch if I would get out of bed and go to work. I almost flipped a coin to see if I would call in sick or not. I'm going to have to re-read yesterday's thread because I know there were things I wanted to comment on. BBIAB
Kier - YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!! Wow - 4.5 pounds. Congratulations on all your hard work. I'm the worst about picking at appetizers... I'm getting better though. Wow, date #3 with NF. Sounds fun! You have been a mad woman lately.... I need to get back into that frame of mind. Go you!
Lexxy - great pic! We'll have to see one with the new hairdo! I know you told me, but I forgot where in Mass you're from. I know you had a friend in Brighton (practically my back yard). Whata small world.
I swam this morning.... but I haven't been counting points for the last week and I'm almost sure I'm going over most days... I really need to get back into the swing of things if I want to make my birthday goal. Because I haven't lost since I set the goal. I've been going to the gym almost everyday despite it being the last thing I want to do. But I know that it can't make up for all the points.... I need to start journalling again!
Lexxy ~ Your picture is awesome, you are soo pretty! Be careful driving. I always worry about people driving late at night....
Kier ~ WAY TO GO ON THE LOSS!!! You are rockin'!!!! Doesn't it feel good to be in control!!! Good luck with nf, I am sure things will work out if it is meant to be!
Lisa ~ A swim sounds awesome, I know what you mean about tracking and trying to get back at it, I am struggling right now, but getting there. It is a slow process getting back on the wagon! I am here for ya!!!!
Well, it is Wed., and we have thunderstorm warnings out. Not going to be a nice day. My DD was suppose to have her first soccer game tonight, we will see.....I do hope tomorrow is nice, it is my boss's retirement party, and as one of his gifts, we got him a horse/carriage ride thru town to the country club (where we are eating dinner), I just don't want it to rain.....
I am slowing getting my eating back in order. Last night I ate at the hight end of my points, but also did some house cleaning, so hopefully that counts for something. I am back writing everything down, which is key, and trying to get back some form of exercise. I have laundry to do tonight, and going to make myself get on the treadmill.
As of tomorrow morning, my DH is taking a couple days off, and then he is back to working normal 8 hour - day shifts. It will be weird having him back home, since he has been gone since March. What we don't do for money.....I think I am taking off of work on Friday, we are going to take the kids to the Zoo.
Well, better get some work done. A big "Hi" to all the lurkers out there and anyone I missed while writing this looonngg post!!
Lisa I'm no super WW im making small changes so that they'll stick so my eating hasnt been stellar last night i had icecream
but the Healthy insanity is creeping up
btw hon YOU ROCK TOO! look at how much you have lost !
I want to go swimming but the lap swims are sooo early here b/c of all the lil kid camp things going on

Good morning, everyone! WI last night was a good one! I'm down 2.2 lbs! Yay! Has anyone else noticed that the weight seems to be harder to take off after you've lost some? I've lost about 33 lbs--my first few months of WW, the weight came off really easily, even if I didn't have a good week. Now that I've lost some, I find I have to stick to the plan almost exactly in order to lose. Has anyone else experienced this?
Even though WI was good last night, last night itself was not good. BF was being a great big jerk and really upset me. We got into a big fight ( ), I hung up on him and haven't heard from him since. He makes me so mad because he can be SO selfish! (And that is why boys are dumb). On the bright side, I didn't go searching for chocolate. I took a long, hot bath, read the greatest book ever, cleaned the pig cages, and went to bed relatively early.
I have to tell you about this book I'm reading. The name of it is Outlander and it's about this English woman who travels back in time to Scotland in the 1700's. She proceeds to fall in love with this absolutely adorable sweetheart (who I'm falling more and more in love with each time my BF angers me). It's actually the first book in a series and I just cannot tell you how good it is!
Lexxy--Hello! Yikes, it does sound like you have a busy week! Mmmm Chipotles--we absolutely have to get one in Omaha and that's all there is to it. I hope that all goes well at the Dr and you figure out what's ailing you.
Kier--Congratulations on your loss! That is SO awesome! In celebration, let's take a look at the dancing monkey: . It sounds like you're making some GREAT changes in your diet and lifestyle, which is super-important to weight loss success. (I know this because I'm still struggling to make the changes).
OK, I'm going to put on my headphones--there's a girl here at work who talks ALL the time and is always breaking my concentration, so I block her out with loud music.
Jess - congrats on the 2.2. I have noticed that the more I loose the harder it is to take weight off. Sorry to hear about the fight with BF - those types of things are always a downer. My SIL is reading the Outlander series and just loves them.
Tonya - good job on the journaling. That's something that I'm concentrating on too. How old is you daughter? My cousin started playing soccer at 6. She plays in a U19 co-ed league now which is fun to watch but I miss the days of "herd ball".
Lexxy - glad you're going to the dr. today. Hopefully, you'll be feeling better soon. Have a safe trip this weekend. And your picture was beautiful.
Kier - CONGRATULATIONS! 4.5 lbs is awesome. All your efforts at small changes are really paying off.
Lisa - your pictures are amazing! Everytime I learn a little more about your weightloss journey or see your pictures, I am inspired to work harder towards my own goals.
I'm taking my cousin (16 and drop dead gorgeous) swimsuit shopping today. She just sent an e-mail asking if her new boyfriend could come with us while we shop. Now I know that the boyfriend will see her in the swimsuit, but I'm not real thrilled with the idea of him watching her try on every single swimsuit in a store. Sigh.. Somedays I wish I could turn back time to when she wore pink dresses and ribbons in her ponytails.
Lexxy-you are beautiful! Where do you live in Mass? i am in Grafton...
Lisa-I think you look awesome! Your pictures are such an inspiration! No wonder your roommate is jealous I too have periods where I stop counting every single point and just plateau-those are hard...but at least you are exersizing!!!
Jess-Congrats on the loss-and yes, I agree, it gets harder to lose as you get closer to goal. For myself I think it is also a little bit of a mental block-every time I get just a little under 150 I stop following program exactly-I don't know why-its like i am trying to sabotage myself or something! So this time, i am not looking at the scale at all-I am not weighing at home either, just at WW< until July 4th. We'll see what happens.
Kier-Congrats on the 4.5:sheep: Here is a sheep to celebrate!
Congrats on the 4.5 pounds Kier! THat's awesome! It's so hard to leave food on the plate - that's a good idea just to have it taken away.
Well i went golfing for the first time yesterday! I went with my sister, who's never golfed before, and my mom who has but not often, so we had a good time! we went to a smaller place during the day to try and keep from annoying other golfers I"ll have to try it again though!
OK - I had to jump in quickly to say hi and YAY - you guys are some big losers! Way to go Kier and Jess. And I also must say - sexy! Lorie, your pictures made me start looking forward to my sister's wedding this summer. Lexxy and Lisa - whoa baby! Ok I can't stay on cause there's too much work today. I might be back during the afternoon lull.

Hey girls and guys (if there are any)
I used to do the live chat and well i got lost for awhile on my diet so....Now I am back!! (in action i hope)
Worked out 3 times so far this week, hope that continues. I am also keeping my journal ( ) and I have planned my meals until Saturday ( do you think that is too much ) Well, I might sound rather on top of things but this is just the beginning for me - on my second time around. Last year I lost approx. 30 lbs, but regretfully to admit, I put about 15 back on...that sucks!!
Any way I will look at the bright side I caught it before i was back to 170, i would have had to pull out the old clothes Well just wanted to introduce myself....my real name is Tonya. Talk to you later.
felt good just to read everyones messages. i just started monday and so far i have eaten on the max end of my points, with the exception of today. i should end on the low end. i am starting here at 152.5.
i hope to get to 135. 10%, just about anyway!!that is my goal. has anyone eaten there max all week and still lost? im concerned about that.
when i look at all of your successes, it truly inspires me. looks like most of you have come so far!!
im 27, about to be 28, and im from ft lauderdale. take care everyone!! talk to you soon.
