November, new month, new goal. My goals this month:

OK. I had a stupid weekend too. And my computer went down so I didn't log in.
So that was October, but now it's November first and a new month. My revised goal is to be at 135# by the end of the month. WHATEVER it TAKES, that is where I am going! That's my goal. My REWARD is a new chair for my sunroom [where I love to sit in the morning, but have no furniture in there yet. Hey yall! Okay here are my goals for this month:
* Exercise at least 5x a week. * Stay on plan at least 6 days out of the week. * Drink at least 32 oz of water per day. * Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night. * Meet my Thanksgiving Goal. Let's do this! :carrot: |
Count me in. I'm happy to say that I met and exceeded my October goals and I am looking forward to doing the same in November.

Here for my daily check in! ;) Hey Gettinfit, I don't even own a scale anymore. I only weigh at my weekly weigh ins and that works great for me. Very pretty chair Ipa! Great incentive. Had a good day today. Is the Halloween candy driving anyone else nuts! UGH! I think I'm gonna put it all in one container with a reminder note for me to STAY OUT! Right now it is on my kitchen counter and that is not a good place for it. Keep up the good work ladies! |

I am not in for a good weigh in tonight ladies...I may be up 2 or 3 pounds on account of the bad eating I did this weekend and Tuesday night, I dont want to change that signature but it is gonna happen so I had better get used to it and just do good this week. I will let you know how it goes... |

my husband graduates from the police academy on dec 9th and i dont want to run on stage and knock us both over so im losing for that right now take care ladies i weigh in tomarrow ( fingers crossed ) i hope it's a good one |

Worked a night shift last night and surprised at how fired up I am today. I'm really psyched up and I think it's because I'm trying to go with 5 pound mini goals. 5 pounds sounds like it's doable. Somehow my mind can wrap itself around that much and just 1 pound seems like real progress! That said, I'm down to 140 today and feeling like I want to keep at it instead of thinking "Big deal, down a pound--there's 20-some to go, guess I'll have a cookie". So today I'll do some weights and hit the road with my little "Walking Coach", Ellie and get some exercise in. How goes it for you today? Ipa |

Glad your feeling psyched Ipa!! :) Hi Kim!! Keep up the awesome work. I'm a bit bummed today because I had my cholesterol checked on Monday and it was unchanged. The last I had it checked was October 05. So, perhaps it had gone even higher than it was in 10/05 and is on it's way down.....let's hope. My good cholesterol is good and so is the ratio. I'll have it checked again in 3 months, so I'm hoping for improvment by then. High cholesterol runs in my family, but I really don't want to go on meds! Any ideas to lower that besides staying op, losing weight and exercising six days a week? |
Hi all! How are you all doing? I'm feeling great, my teeth just ache. But that's my fault because I've had like four (diet) sodas today and my teeth hate that! One soda a day is all they can take right now. I've been doing REALLY good at keeping track of my points. I've been writing down EVERYTHING that has made it past my lips. Ex. I had two of those little pumpkin candy corn last night and I tracked down the info and calculated those points (1 pt).

Good morning ladies!
I'm so disappointed in myself - I went completely off program last night. I re-joined a club I used to be a part of, and was on an emotional high from seeing all my old friends... so instead of continuing that high with good OP food, I bought fried stuff. I regretted it almost as soon as I started eating, but I still have the mental programming that I "paid good money for that so I better eat it." I *did* only eat until I was satisfied though, and then I stopped. The worst part is, I still have to figure points and journal this. I count my points starting at dinner time, not breakfast, so that throws today into chaos. I hope none of you mind my "unloading" on you - I feel much better for the "confession" and next time will plan ahead before I go to that restaurant after the club meeting. They have a plate of fresh, raw veggies as an option! How cool is that? I can eat out with them for FREE (points-wise) if need be! |

Goals for November: 1) Walk on treadmill at least .10 mile per day. Example: Nov 1st = .10 (Actual = .25!), Nov 2 = .20 (Actual = .47!), Nov. 3 = .30 miles, etc., etc., etc. I'll be up to 3 miles by the end of the month! Unless I keep going ove my goals of course. Whoo Hoo! 2) Cut down on the soda. I usually drink Diet Pepsi, but I'm replacing a minimum of one can of soda with water. So far I'm doing pretty good on that and even noticed my youngest son drinking water at dinner last night, just like me! 3) Come see y'all EVERY DAY!! I'm soooo glad I found ya! Deb |
