Chris - go ahead and have a small cheeseburger - plan on it, work it in your program and make it work. Take my advice. It will be better for you in the long run and one burger will not crash your goals whatsoever. That's the beauty of WW.

I did get out to do the fruit and veggie shopping but I got called into work so I didn't get any cooking done. I do have a couple hours today and I'm hoping to get a couple of things in the freezer.

I'll try to pop in later. Have a good SUnday everybody. I'm off to church

Thanks, Rose. I will break down and have a small burger one of these days. Ihave been eating turkey burgers and I just think I need to eat one of them and the burger craving will go away...I hope.

Right now I have to get thru today. Breakfast out with MIL and DSD at IHOP. I need to go look at their menu and find a point friendly breakfast.

WI day.
I am down 2 pounds so I am right on track for the Thanksgiving Challenge. YAY.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone!

Chris, I understand not wanting to have to lose the same pound(s) over again, but a really small burger might be the trick. I LOVE rice crispy treats, the real gooey homemade ones. They are one of my specialties. DD had a big party to go to for her dance team last night, and I've supplied the RCTreats for all functions for the past 9 years, so they wanted them again as usual. I knew I needed to make them, and, knowing how much I love them, I decided to alot a 5 of my points for the day for a small one (I figured them out point wise, so I needed 5). Anyway, those first 2 bites were like heaven....but the rest was just "ok". What gives? I used to be able to eat SEVERAL of them, and still go back for another.....I think as your body changes you may still want those things, but your body doesn't. Because of that, the extras that are upstairs are not calling my name. Those first two bites took care of my craving and satisfied me completely. Take the two bites of your burger and reevaluate. It might be all you need!

Ooops! Forgot to add one more thing!

Chris, I know it's not the same to have to supply your own prize, but it means the same nonetheless....If you want/need a prize or reminder or pat on the back for your 10%, BUY ONE! You can get one of those key chains on ebay for about $3. It will still be a reminder of your accomplishments and a motivator whether a WW leader gave it to you or you picked it up yourself. Don't go without!

Unhappy

Thanks for the welcome!
I did horrible today. Well it started out great. Two apples for breakfast and I went to the gym at lunch. Got back to the office and realized I forgot 1/2 of my lunch on the kitchen counter at home. But hey, at least I did remember my salad. Cool, right.
Well, I am working on this project at work that would kil a lesser woman. Well by the end of the day, I am near tears and my wonderful hubby decides to do me a favor by covering dinner for us.
pizza.
Pizza is my favorite, my weakness.
Not just any pizza. Pizza from my favorite pizza place. deep dish and with extra cheese.
But you know what. It was one day and it will be just this ONE day. And i didn't go hog wild. I held back. 1. I barely drank any water today and 2. I don't want to cancel out my workout from this afternoon.
I still feel guilty, though.
Hopefully the scale will be gently with me tomorrow.

OC - I'm sure you did fine.

Can I offer some advice? I'm not sure how long you have been on WW or if you have done WW in the past. If you already know this, just refresh your memory. I noticed that you said you ate 2 apples for breakfast and had a salad for lunch. Some protein in either and/or both of those meals would help you a lot. Protein breaks down slower and gives you so much more bang for your points. Try to put some protein in every meal. You will find the extremes won't happen so often and the willpower stays stronger because you don't have that big void in the stomach area.

Pick yourself up from the pizza and figure out what you could have done differently next time. If you don't want to change it and it's okay to have eaten the pizza, that's okay too.

Went to a Pampered Chef party last night. The hostess was a friend of mine and served some pretty good alternatives to all the sweets that were there. I was able to have a couple small pieces of the treats to give them a taste, but they were not the "main meal" . That in and of itself is a huge improvement for me. I knew I was going to the party, so I allowed myself some extra points to move around with and it worked pretty well for me.

How are you doing?

Hi Rose. I am glad to hear your friend thought of you and had a good treat for for everyone.

Yesterday was a bad day for me. I spent a lot of my points snacking. I stayed within points but didn't get the protein. During the course of the day I ate 4 mini bags of popcorn at 2 points a bag. Top that off with 2 points for pudding. I don't usually munch like that. Looking back I realize I was bored yesterday. I will keep myself busy today....even if that means cleaning.

I have an appointment with my counselor today. Joy Joy.

Hope every one has a great day.
