Me too! Sort of...
I'm a new-old member.
I've been on 3FC forever. Lost over 100 pounds with the aid of a nutritionist about 5 years ago. Gained it back and 20 more. Lost 50 pounds just recently. Gained 30 of it back.
I've tried Weight Watchers once or twice before, and tried to give it another go. I'm going to try the Flex Plan. I kind of like going it on my own, I was tracking it with FitDay and using general nutrition advice, but it obviously wasn't working for me. I have a lot of other issues (health ones, like anemia that is dragging me down and depression and some new medication that isn't working) but I'm trying to tackle those too. I think my depression is what ruined me most recently, so I'm talking to someone about that, and trying some new medication.
Anyway! After all that rambling, I'll try to remember to check in here. The funny thing is, I just spontaneously decided last night that I'd join, and was chatting with an online friend. I just mentioned off-handedly that I was thinking of joining Weight Watchers. Actually, I was mentioning how I was amused because the directions listed the location between Guido's Hot Dogs and Kandy Nails -- hot dogs and candy, hee!
Anyway, logged in this afternoon post-meeting and she was like, "I joined too! And my husband is following at home!" So it's kind of neat, we're going to try to keep each other motivated, and even if we don't see each other in person we can text-chat and use phone calls for support. Never really went at this with someone I knew outside of a 'dieting' context before. It's always been support through people who I only talk about dieting with. Wonder if it's different.
