Default WW online??

Hello, I was wondering are any of you actually doing the online WW?
What are your thoughts on it? (helpful or could do it at home w/out it!)
Please let me know what you think!!

I'm doing the WW online and loving it. You could do it at home w/o subscription and I've done that for a while BUT the diary and logging online has been really helpfull for me. It also helps you search for points in each food instead of having to look it up on paper/book. you just type in the type of food you had eg. toast. it gives you all kinds of toast, click the right one, enter the portion, then hit ADD and it automatically adds it for you and calculate how many points you've used and have left.
Same thing goes for exercise, you look it up, add it, and automatically the activity points are added. It also has a recipe builder, food resources like resturant points and recipes.
You could try it for a month for free (not sure if that offer is still valid) I think and if you dont like it you could call and cancel the subscription. hope this helps!

Online works for many. For me I HATED it and got my money back....TWICE. It may have helped if at the time I had a laptop. Running to my office everytime I wanted to check the points of something was annoying. When I did it the recipe builder only allowed for 4 fiber for t he entire recipe not per serving, throwing the per serving calculation way off. Perhaps this has changed. I didn't find many friendly people on thw message boards I never felt welcomed or embrassed, not that there aren't nice people b/c I amsur ethere are, but I never found them, though access to recipes was nice. At one time you could search the members recipes for free, but now you have to subscribe to do that I think.

In My opnion you have access to probably millions of WW recipes for FREE on the internet many many of them here, for $15 you can purchase softaware like Mastercook which would allow calculate points from it's nurtional analysis, you can find great message boards here for FREE, I created my own WW journal in excel, which I feel was better than the free printable one WW online offers, plus MANY MANY MANY of thier articles and information, success stories ct are FREE anyway. I feel Online is a waste of money and that WW with it's multi million dollar profits could and should create a much better service. It should be more portable (they used to have a pda download, but I don't think they do anymore), you should recieve the printed materials (like the points slider) since you are paying quite a chunk of cash, plus have access to purchase books and things that meeting goers can. It's annoying that if you are in the grocery store you don't really have a way to accuratley calculate the points of an item, until you can get to a computer.

But this is just me. I have done online, meetings and on my own with stuff I got from the meetings. I lost 25 pounds on my own, but couldn't keep it off. I perfer meetings and find them well worth the money, but I think that varies depending on your schedule, your leader and teh group of members you have. Try it,s ee if you like it, it works for many. I tried it hated it and after like a week or so emailed them saying that I didn't find thier service satisfactory and would rather attend meetings, they refunded me. I'm not saying taht will always happen it just happened for me.

The key to all this is that it has to work for you, many people have success with it. Looks at Jgllybits above many don't. I didn't. Hope this helps a bit

I love WW online right now. This is the beginning for me though. I have only done it now for 6 weeks. So far so good. I love the online tracker because it makes me feel accountable. I might not stick with doing WW online forever but I think to start it does help indeed.

I like WW online I have been a meetings member several times and usually stop going after 3 or 4 weeks, couldn't justify the cost I guess. Did the program by myself at home too and did well, but I am a "joiner" and so signed up online. 5 weeks and going strong!
