Realizing that this time it's going to be a lifetime commitment. This time I am doing it for me and not some dumb 10-year High School reunion.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS:
Failure to realize before that this needed to be a lifetime commitment. I lost over 44 pounds before and then stopped doing all those things I learned little by little. Over time, I gained it all back.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO TO CELEBRATE SUCCESSES:
Hershey's chocolate. I've loved it since I was a kid and used to sing the commercials. Now I have a stash of Hershey Kisses and allow myself one or two as special treats.
OCCUPATION: Currently about to start a class that will train me as a NPS Ranger. Soon to be a National Park Service Ranger (I hope...)
The Ranger Academy ends Dec 20th.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: I love desserts. I'm chronically ill and sometimes the meds and/or my condition make it impossible to workout. I always "eat within the points", but without that Cardiac Rehab program (50 minutes on the treadmill at 4.3mph) I'm history.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: Learning to stop when I'm eating a trigger food. Now, if I do eat them, I only buy one portion at a time.

Obviously that is not a deep motivation, but what worked for me the last time was knowing I was making myself healthier and this is what I want to get back to, more than anything.
