  • Happy Black Friday!

Its a good day to support those local stores, plant the rest of those bulbs, vacuum up the crumbs, take that cheesecake into work and maybe just stay away from the mall.

T-day was good. They all left by 8:15. DP was pooped, Jacques was also tired, and I am sooo sick of turkey. We do it again at 5 pm tonight.

Hope everyone else is doing fine.

  • Survived Turkey Day and even went shopping for a bit on Black Friday later in the day. I didn't get up to hit the stores at 5 a.m.--don't get too may days that I can actually "sleep in" a little

We did see a tiny bit of snow but it didn't stick. Today it was a balmy 57 so I took advantage and washed my car--of course tomorrow they're calling for rain

    More later.
  • Had a nice Turkey Day also. I managed to stay away from the desserts other than a couple of bites of Dh's cheesecake. Since I didn't cook, no left overs to worry about.

Went to the mall yesterday with my daughter and sister to do a little Christmas shopping. It was very busy so we decided to go out for lunch and see a movie instead (Christmas with the Kranks...it was OK). I wanted to put up some of the outdoor decorations but the weather has been kind of rainy. I think I'll try and get that done next weekend and put up the tree the weekend of the 10th.

I can't believe back to work tomorrow. It will be a busy one, my boss is on vacation and my assistant will be out having surgery.

Well I should go grocery shopping and then we're off to bring DS back to school. It was nice having him home. Talk to you later.
