Welcome back Melissa -- sounds like you guys had a great trip.

Nothing doing here. Did kickboxing last night and tomorrow decided to rev things up a bit with a cardio mix class in the am. DP comes home tonight and I'm soo happy.

Any exciting plans for the weekend?

GO SOX! GO CARDS!

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick hello. I'm off to a dinner theater "murder mystery" with a group of people from work. The menu sounds yummy so I hope I can be good. I am soooooooooo happy the sox won. It should be an interesting World Series especially if the Astro's make it and Roger Clemens pitches. Still, I'm rooting for the Cards. Talk to you later.

Pam, I too am glad the Cards are in. It should be a great World Series. Is it my imagination or does it seem like the World Series is later every year? This one may not end till November!!

This weekend I'm headed to my parents' home in St. Pete. I haven't seen them since June. Each time I planned a visit a darn hurricane came to visit me! DH is on his way to Albuquerque for a marathon. I hope the workday goes fast.

Anyone else have plans?

Good morning ladies

No major plans here for the weekend. DS #2 has a cross country meet tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. and that's it as far as "things going on". The rugby club has a home game and depending upon the weather I may go and watch it.

I'm trying to get my eating back on track and have been doing good until the evening. Last night I was full and yet I still had tortilla chips! Ugh! I need to not have these in the house since they're too much of a temptation for me. The weather here doesn't help--it's been overcast & cool all week and it's a signal to hunker down and get ready for winter. I'm getting my hair cut at noon today and can't wait. It's been driving me crazy this past week and I'm ready for it.

Lisa: Have a great time in St. Pete. I hear the weather down in your area has been nice. I'm hoping to visit my GF in the spring.

Pam: Hope you had fun at your dinner last evening. The series is going to be an interesting one--I hope the Sox win.

Hi Ladies,

The dinner theater last night was just OK. The food was not as good as I thought it would be. I had salmon and rice but there was too much taragon in the salmon. Dessert was a rum ball concoction that was much too sweet. The whole murder mystery was a little dragged out and I didn't end up getting home until 10:30. After all the late nights watching the sox this week I was hoping to get to bed a little earlier.

Not too much planned for the weekend. DH is in New York on business until Monday night. DD has plans with her friends so I think I'm on my own tonight. Tomorrow I am going to visit a friend who delivered twins today! Boy and a girl I think the names are Preston and Phoebe. Hope to do some clothes shopping on Sunday.

Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Hi everyone,

Pam, I would love to go a murder mystery dinner thing, but too bad the dinner was bad.

I'm happy to see the cards v. soxs in the World Series also, I like them both. You know, just the way your mom would say -- "i love you equally".

Anyways, DP has another cold and stayed home today. She sounds awful. The dog and cat are keeping her company.

I am spending today reinstalling software and fixing my registry as putting on netscape 7.2 on my machine hosed most of my programs. Argh.

No big plans for the weekend, reading my book for seminar (440 pages), reading a few trashy novels, planting 300 bulbs, going to Target for some work out clothes, farmer's market and cooking for next week. I am trying to use some of my menu planner recipes from this summer, but I don't use a crock pot, so I will hope that some can be done in the oven.

Melissa -- I am feeling your pain, but in my case, its cheetos. Yes, nasty orange cheetos from the vending machine at work. Need to find a cheeto substitute. That is 320 calories from fat I don't need.

Domina -- have fun with mom and dad! Are the birds good travellers?
Have a great weekend everyone!
