Last December, a week before Christmas when Winning Points was brand new in my area, I asked my leader if I could stay on 1-2-3. She said she couldn't stop me from following "any plan I wanted", that she was not there to police what I ate, but that she would not be discussing, supporting, or answering any questions related to 1-2-3 any more. Therefore I pretty much HAD to switch to WP, and did.

Wow, what interesting responses! More than half of responders are still using 123, either completely or partially.

Since I'm looking into going back to 123 (I've lost maybe 5 pounds since January trying to do WP), I'd love to hear from some of you and why you're still on 123. Have you tried WP and had poorer results? Or are you just thinking if it ain't broke, why fix it?

Hi Lauren-- I lost almost 60 lbs on 123 program... I have not gone to meeting for about a year but have stayed pretty much to my goal. I have creeped up a little and now want to lose a few more. I am trying to get back on my program using 123. I am not familiar with the new program. I don't care for meeting and since I recieved a letter stating that lifetimers could go to meeting in this area for 8 dollers a week I will not be attending any.I do think WW is the best program around though.
Have A Great Week-- Joanne

CL,

just a suggestion if you really want to stay on 123.... my leader suggested this when 123 first came out b/c we had people who didnt like it.

the suggestion is to STAY on the plan that YOU prefer, and just every once in a while try wp, just so you dont feel lost at your meetings.

Hi Girl - kd500 ..The letter said 800 for meetings ,but never the less.. I have this thought that I don't want to be dependent on the meeting.. I want to feel that I can do this on my own. Because if I can't do this on my own ,I haven't learned a thing. Don't get me wrong but I have recieved more help and good thoughts from these sites than I ever got at the meetings. The open thoughts here are well recieved.
Thank you for your response.. I did pretty good yesterday.
I was surprised too about the fiber.. There was something about carrots and onions?? I wonder if it was the sugar content???I don't eat all that many . I am still sticking with 123 .
Have A Great Day...Joanne
