Hi all, ok, so one more week of the mini challenge to go, and I am doing not too well. I have stayed the same again this week, so unless I have a mega week next week then I don't think I'm going to do it. I have been ill for past 2 weeks, and not been out of the house in that time, so no exercise has taken place at all. Not even the ironing or washing I've been so bad. But no excuses. I'll do what I can next week to at least make my results even slightly respectable. Back soon.

Dawny, don't worry about the challenge. Obviously, it wasn't a good period for you to take the challenge. You can't blame yourself for being sick, so don't worry about not having great results for the challenge. We have a lot of time, after the challenge to get great results!

Yipee!! WI was 1.4# loss. That puts me at 198.8.

My dear friend was almost too happy to call me at 6:30 this morning to get me out of bed to exercise. Though, with her help, I hope for even better results next week. We are doing this together. I crack the whip on her eating habits and she bullies me about exercise. Pretty good pair, we are.

Yay Melanie, you beat the 00s!!!! Good for you! I think it's great to have someone to share this with, you and your friend seems like a great pair!

Well, one more week on this mini challenge and I don't think I'm going to come close to 10 pounds, but if I am lucky I shall at least come in less than I started the month and for that, I shall be glad.
I think we should do this again for next month, though, and maybe be more realistic (for me anyway) in terms of the expected loss. If I do better than that, that would be great. I wonder if 5 pounds is a better choice for me?

Had WI last night. 3.2# more of me is gone!!! Yippee! There just might be something to be said for exercising!

Well, the challenge has officially ended. Thanks so much for participating. I know the results are not great for all of us, maybe the 10-pound goal was high for some of us and also being ill and stuff didn't help us. But anyway, we can do a challenge again sometime and set a more realistic goal. So here are the total results for each one of us in the challenge:

Linda (derrydaughter) 2.2 pounds Percentage of goal: 22%
Dawny (dawnydw) 0.5 pounds Percentage of goal: 5%
Melanie (emerald) 6.4 pounds Percentage of goal: 64%
Natalie (sugar_cane) 10.9 pounds Percentage of goal: 109%


I hope everyone is pleased with the results, and even if not pleased then at least not discouraged by them. It's only a challenge, and we'll do it again. We all lost anyway! Thanks again for the regular messages and the participation in the challenge.
