My Walmart has the cakes on a display between the deli and the bakery. I've had the chocolate...small, but I thought it was pretty good. A friend of mine had the carrot cake ones and thought the icing was really nasty.

I'm new to this board, I've been posting on the core board when I get a chance - but the light english muffins? Where do you usually purchase these - Wal-Mart too? I'm on the east coast as well!! Thanks

Same here. On an end cap near the frozen department. I think at the end of the bread isle.
I think the carrot cake is pretty good. The muffins (I tried the apple ones) are fantastic, IMHO.

I LOVE the ww muffins, choc and carrot cakes. They are all the sweet I need to get through a craving. Mine were found in the snak cake isle. I eat a muffin for breakfast if in a rush, and saves me time till I get my oven fixed. I would love a recipie for a 3pt muffin! That way I can save money when my oven is fixed, lol (will be on tuesday, lol)

Well that's just my opinion.

Is Walmart the only store that is selling these? The closest one to me is about 30 miles---long drive with the high gas prices.

Any other stores selling these tasty low-point cakes?

I have not see anywhere else sell these snack cakes for W/W sorry. Maybe you could take a trip for lots of stuff and not just 1 item (BTW it is 13 miles for me 1 way and I know the gas prices too but I live in the country so it is worth it to be that far <and it is from anything> from everything).

Thanks Kelly, that is a good idea. I will start working on a big list---maybe I could start doing some Christmas shopping.

Little cakes ...BIG PROBLEM (for me!) I can't stop at just 1 ...or 2 ...or 3 ...to be honest, I eat the whole box ...not a good thing for me to keep around the house!

Here is S. Florida, when these WW cakes first came out, they were on an end cap by frozen foods, but now are in snack cakes. So far, I've only seen/heard of them at Wal-Mart. Our Super Wal-Mart here leaves something to be desired. It is SO crowded with some of the rudest people, but I gotta give them credit, they have stuff I can't find at any of my favorite grocery stores. So, every once in a while, I make a trip to Wal-Mart and stock up on the hard to find items. I buy several boxes of the mini cakes and put them in my deep freezer to keep them fresher. Obviously, I love them. They are my back up when I am out of ice cream and don't feel like going to the store.

Regarding size: they are about the size of a twinkie to me. Of course, it's been ages since I've eaten a twinkie.

The 1 point english muffins here in S. Florida can be found at Winn Dixie and Publix as well as Super Wal-mart. If you can't find Nature's Grain, Thomas English Muffins have a new low-carb version which is also only 1 point. Those might be easier to find. I haven't tried them myself, so I'm not sure about my taste, but my boss has tried them and says they are good.

FYI they are about 1/3-1/2 the size of a Twinkie! (I eat twinkie's on occasion because I enjoy them just not 3-4 a day like before).

Wal-Mart has an exclusive deal until the new year. They should be in lots of stores after that.
