    Tara, I havne't been journalling at all for a while. I should, would you care to make it a little competition? I need to know that someone is watching me. I'm still exercising daily though. Re: my mat leave, I don't know for sure, maybe 6 weeks, or maybe a few more. I havn't been able to get hold of my boss. I'm really enjoying living here. I think I'll like it even more once I move in with my brother and will actually be in Red Deer.

    You're absolutely right! EVen though I won't make goal, journaling, eating right, and exercising helps me stay on track and establish a new goal in my head. I was unprepared for how tough the post holiday season would be and here we are in April!
    Time for me to shake things up and get real serious again. Thanks for the encouragement. Good luck with the baby and all you're doing--especially weight loss.

    I went for a 2.5 hour walk yesterday and I can sure feel it And it feels good. I haven't been eating the greatest, but not bad. Well, it's April, can you believe it, I have 10 days left to reach my next goal. It's doable, but I still ahve to do it

  • Hey all. I am so tired. Between being a single parent at the moment and high volume at work, I need a break. Oh I am sooooo tired!! Hubby comes home late tonight. But tomorrow I am bringing Emma to a kids fest in the morning and then Easter for Kids at church in the afternoon. I hope I make it through and I hope she does too, she may not want to nap with everything that is going on. And when she doesn't nap, she is CRABBY!

    At lunch I am running to the grocery store to stock up on veggies and fruits. I so need these in the house for healthy snacking and eating. And Emma wants strawberries. Hope they are on sale.

    I haven't had time to weigh or workout this week. I don't feel like I have gained, so I am sure I am still the same, like always. Hopefully I can get back on track soon!
  • wow guys sorry I haven't been around in awhile. I am at 158.5 this morning (my own personal "weigh-in" day. Easter is coming up quick. I forgot that this thread ended a week earlier then a different easter thread I am in. So I changed my easter goal to 156 (my other one is 155) I am hoping I can make it but that would be 1.5lbs and this week I lost 3 which I don't think has ever happened. I will keep my fingers crossed though!

    I went for another walk yesterday, 2 hours and 15 min. I'm getting sore, so I'll take it easy today, it's also stormy wind outside, brrrr...no fun for baby.

  • oh wow I am sore. I lifted weights today and I haven't done it in awhile (bad me I know those big guys are just so intimidating and there are so many of them!) I weighed myself at 156.5 this morning! Only .5 from my easter goal! I can do it!
  • Great job Sunshine!! I haven't been so good. The last few weeks have been so hectic and stressful that I haven't been eating as well as I should have been. And with TOM this week I have been craving everything and have had the worst headache for the last 2 days!! I don't think I will make my goal for Easter, but I will try to make my goal for April!! I have a ways to go!!

    GG, my goals change quite often as well. no worries. Just do the best you can this week.
    Well, I was down 1 pound yesterday Now I am officially out of the 180's. I am so happy with that. I will never see them again. I've lost about a pound a week since the New Year (average). If I keep that up, I'll get to goal middle of January next year, humph, I want to get there sooner, well my goal is by Christmas. Oh well, I really just want to get there I did 8.5 hours of exercise last week, that's the most I've ever done (that I can remember).
    OK, where have the other "regular" posters all gone? I'm missing you

    I had a good day yesterday, I got some things done, ate well and exercised. Things were good. hope today is another good day.

  • Well, I am off tomorrow, Yeah!! Greatly needed Holiday! Though last week was a horrible week for exercising because of working late most of the days, and this week being TOM- I have been eating everything in site!! But, I have lost 1lb. so I am 5lbs off of my goal for Sunday...but maybe another will come off. But if not I will not adjust my monthly goals because of this. 5 lbs is easy to overcome when I get past this week's struggle and can get back on track. As long as I am still losing, even though it's only 1 lb....I will NEVER complain!!! I can see toning in my arms and through my stomach, so I am happy!!! I will report on Monday what the final outcome was!

    Congrats to eveyone who has done great on this challenge even if it's just hitting a few goals!! It's a great thing to make your goals.
  • I DID IT! I didn't think I would but I weighed in at 156 this morning which was my Easter goal. Based on past history I will probably be at 154.5 on Sunday (I almost Always lose 1.5lbs from fri to sun for some reason. once in a great while it will be just 1lb)
  • Hello! I haven't been here for a long while. A combination of being super busy, (work and trying to reno our house for the daycare) and embarassment that I have not journalled or followed WW at all this month. Last night was one of the only nights we have eaten a meal in our own home- they have been take out on the fly usually. I have totally met my goal of walking 170 km, and am fairly certain I have not gained.
    Today makes me particularly sad. I noticed in my day planner that if I had followed my plan of losing 1 lb per week, I would have been back at goal now. So Diana, be proud of your 1 lb per week loss! And a huge congrats on being in the 170's!!
    I know I need to get at this, it is just so much easier not to do it!!
    Here is my goal: eat fairly healthy throughout the weekend, then start 100% on Monday. I have a wedding to attend in May, and would like to knock off a few lbs by then.
    ALSO I will try to pop in here once a day to chat with you all, because you keep me honest.
    What are everyone's plans for Easter?
  • Alright still at 180, though at least it is down from where I started, I am still going to try to hit my April goal for the end of the month...or at least get close. The husband will be out of town for 2 weeks at the end of the month, so I will be able to really exercise and concentrate on losing!!
