Default Do eggs make you gain weight?

I have had 3 eggs just about every morning for like 3 months wrapped in a low carb tortilla wrap. (The wrap is only 1 point) is that okay?

No, they don't. You only gain if you are going over points (including weekly points.)

You might watch your cholesterol eating that many eggs. I make myself an egg and egg white omelet and don't miss the second yolk. My dr checks my levels with blood work when I go for a check up. Eggs are healthy whole foods as long as you don't have other issues.

That's not entirely accurate. Bodies are complicated things and there are weeks where you do everything right and will still see a gain.

But no single food will make you gain weight. Moderation is a good thing, and that's what WW advocates. Kassi: Keep doing what you're doing if it's working, and when it's not working for you anymore, adapt There's no real problem with having 3 eggs.

That's a 7 point breakfast. Not bad! I generally have between 5 to 9 points for breakfast myself. I don't think three eggs is a bad thing. I don't have the references right at my finger tips, but I recall reading that eggs don't really add to cholesterol as much as was once thought.

ETA: I found the article I was thinking about: http://www.sciencenews.org/view/gene...lesterol_Risks

Hmmmm...maybe three eggs every day isn't such a good thing.

The American Heart Association says 1 egg a day for healthy adults, egg whites are unlimited. For someone your size, 3 eggs are a lot. Why not have 1 egg and 2 whites in your wrap and add some veggies to eat or eat a piece of fruit with it.
