Straightahead good to know that it doesnt go lower than 26 pts. When I had a loss at my WI last week my points went down to 27. Me too dont like loosing a point and I was thinking so if I lose more my points will be less and les. Kinda worried might go down to 10 DP

Had my woman wellness today. My doctor was so happy about my weight loss. I was like still 40 more to go. She said I should not hurry and take my time in loosing weight. She told me of her patient that in 10 yrs she lost 100 lbs. 1 lb a month. I said wow in 10 yrs! And here I am complaining people loosing 50 lbs in 6months. She said weight loss is a journey and must take it one day at a time and in no time you will be shocked that you already reach your goal. And told me to keep it up. (Was envious of my sister's boyfriend that he loss 15 lbs in 3 weeks!! My sister goes he is a guy and guy loose way faster than us women)

Anyway have a good day ladies! Smile always and never discourage from reaching our goals!!

myfavisblue- No one likes losing points, I am on 27 and in a few more pounds will be on 26. Very glad it stops there are well becuase I am not sure I want to live on less then that. Luckily I am also getting close to goal and then I get to go up to 32 (add 6 pts) for maintance (looking forward to that).

This week I decided to try the eating all my weeklies on one day and so Friday I had a big eating day. Breakfast at a sugar bush, Large Cafe Mocha, supper at McDonald including a shamrock shake. And I lost 3.4 lbs. I am going to try it again this week (Saturday I have a charity dinner). See if it works again.

I went to the doctor the other day and NO one mentioned the weight loss. I was sad. And my higher calories over the weekend/TOM smoothed back to 234.6 (last weeks weight). I didn't even count points. I just made better decisions when I could. And stupid WW app still hasn't celebrated my achievement of 10%. The weight is correct this week! That's because I reached all these goals in 2009 when I was 238 starting. GRRR @ you WW.

15% is 224.6. Just ten pounds away! I can do it!

Daimere: What a bummer at the doc's office!

I've started weighing daily and I'm having to deal with my brain a little bit. I like having less anxiety when it comes to my official day, but very much dislike the way my body tends to go up or maintain for a couple days before going back down. If I use weeklies, it tends to be only be on Friday and Saturday (I usually still have tons left). But Saturday/Sunday/Monday is a bit frightening scale wise.

I think it's because I tend to eat more salt on the weekends and I drink way less water at home than at work (the water cooler is about 10 steps from my desk).

I've decided to get back into yoga. I used to practice a couple times a week in grad school, but it's been a couple years since I've done anything. I've looked at a couple studios in town. At one the instructors just gave me a strong "uncomfortable teaching fat people" vibe, and I loved the other. People of all sizes, incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, their class hours seemed geared a little more towards stay at homes so i would only be able to make a Saturday class.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for Netflix/Amazon/YouTube/Hulu streaming yoga videos? I need something to get me through at home, because I really like practicing every other day minimum. I could practice without a video, but sometimes I get a little spacey in the middle of a sun salutation and forget what's next ;>

Juli- I give myself 2 days a weeks to obsess about my weight. I am on the scale 4-5 times on those days. One of them is the day before my offical weight in. This allows me no surprises, but it also smooths out the ups and down. It works for me without the frustration.

Jilu, I would like to start doing yoga too. I do have one DVD called AM and PM Yoga, by Gaiam, I like it, but I don't know too much about yoga so I'm not sure how good it is.

I had to take my mom to the doctor today. She took the kids and me out to lunch afterwards. Their favorite, McDonald's. I didn't pack a salad ahead of time, so I just got the yogurt parfait like I usually do (4 points), along with the oatmeal. Holy cow, the oatmeal was 7 points!! I already planned to go over my points today for some other things I had planned, guess I'll be going over a lot more than expected.

Hey ladies! Hope eveyone is well. I have been radio silent for a while mainly due to work but also because I have been having a couple of discouraging weeks.

I am feeling like March is a throw away month since I just today got down past the weight from the last day of February, adn even then only by .4 lbs. Sigh. My 10% still seems a long way away...

So I am just in a funk between work, my weight loss (or lack there of) and the weather (on the 2nd day of spring it is 18 degrees and we have about 6 inches of snow on the ground with more on the way).

But I am still here and still plugging along. Hoping for a slower, warmer, faster weightloss April.

Hi all! I start my 1st week of maintenance next Wed and didn't realize my daily points allowance would go up. I'm kind of freaked about it. I find it funny that back when I dropped to 26 I was freaking out and now that I'm being given some back- that's freaking me out! Lol.

LauraK- Congratulations on getting to goal. I can understand being nervous about the extra pts but you not longer need to lose, so do not need to calorie deficent. I sure it will be great.

Things sure are quiet here lately.

Good news at my weigh in today: down 2.8 pounds! I am actually beginning to think this works, lol. I didn't make the best food choices a few times this week (yes, I ended up eating that Cadbury egg someone gave me last weekend), but I did choose to continue tracking and not go over my weekly points. I don't understand how it works, but I'll take it and keep working hard.

The weigh in sticker at WW this morning said that I am staying at 30 points. But then I logged in to etools and my points there had been lowered to 29. The receptionist couldn't figure out why, so she suggested I call WW to straighten it out. I despise talking on the phone, but I suppose I'll give them a ring on Monday. I don't mind the lower points, I just don't understand the discrepancy.

I hope everyone is doing well. Have a great weekend!

lauraK Congrats on reaching your goal! Hope you dont mind me asking how long it took you to reach your goal?

jilu Everybody has their own crazziness when it comes to weighing. I have two scale. One digital and one not. On unofficial days I use the non digital one. And that one is +5 from the digital one. So if I weigh 180 there so its really 185 then on my official WI I weigh first on the non digital so when I weigh myself on the digital one I wont be surprise to what my offial weight is hehehe

Ok I gained 0.4 today. Its ok had a bad choice of food last thursday even though we ate at sweet tomatoes (soup plantation) Ate salad but I bet its because I ate 2 1/2 serving of blueberry muffin. so was expecting maybe 1-2 lbs but good thing was just 0.4. Did good this week though minus the thursday one. Tracked everything. I hope by next WI i will be out of this frustrating 180s to the very elusive 170s

Well you ladies have a good weekend and upcoming week. I might check in back again next week. Its holy week for us this week so start monday no internet for me until easter. Take care and keep smiling. Congrats in advance for all who will loose and all who already reached their goals!!

Awesomejob, 4 keeps! The discrepancy between the meeting and etools for your points is strange...what did WW say?

Myfavisblue....that s disappointing about the gain, but overall, you have been making amazing progress!

Sometimes it does not make sense whether you gain or lose. This week looked horrendous for me. On St Patty's, my Rueben sandwich and mashed potatoes and mint ice cream added up to way too many points....I got in the habit of snacking on trail mix and chocolate covered almonds this week...yesterday my points hit 50 for the day. So I ate all my weekly points and most of the exercise points, which I never do. So what happens? I lost 3.8 lbs and I am down to 189 (my 10%). Hopefully it is not a fluke, but I have been weighing between 188-190 all week, so I think it is real. This week I will try to eat at the lower end of my points range to keep my metabolism guessing. I am nervous about easter next week, which always brings too many high calorie foods and maybe candy from my parents

Just have to say there have been so many benefits to losing these 21 lbs....boat pose in yoga doesn't feel like ab torture anymore and some of my old size 14 pants are fitting. So many benefits to just sticking with it.

Just checking in this wintery Monday morning. That the HECK?!?!? I thought we were through with all this. I guess we preemptively took the shotty sheets of plastic off all of our 100 year old windows in this old house, burrrrr!!!

I am half way through the week and haven't worked out at all. I was on a super roll a few weeks back, but then I lost my momentum (WW joke?). I need to get excited about exercise again, and not ever stop. Two weeks ago, I was active 6 days. And it felt awesome. I went for a hike, an outdoor jog, and switched it up. I lost almost 3 lbs! The weather needs to get better, MY HEALTH IS ON THE LINE!

It's sort of interesting tho. When I look at all my excel sheets, and all my journals... I am on track. I am right where I thought I would be with all my goals, and haven't really cheated or gone off plan since I started 17 weeks ago. So it could be worse. Impatience and the feeling of "I want to be there now!" Is sort of kicking my attitudes butt at the moment.

How do you stop from beating your self up about weightloss? How do you surpress feelings of "Why am I not doing this even better?

smashlers - It's VERY hard. *VERY* I cannot stress that enough. I'm way too hard on myself, I know that, but it doesn't change. Wish I had better advice. lol

My brother's surgery went well. He's in a ton of pain, but doing well. Needless to say my weekend eating was pretty cr*ppy. Ugh. I didn't make it to my WW Weigh In on Saturday either (we were still at my brother's helping.) My weight is up this morning - duh - but I did still stick to my training and still rode 16 miles on Thursday and ran my 3.1 yesterday.
