Glad you tried the fish. Last night I picked up Wendy's & took to bf. We had grilled chicken sandwich, chili & shared baked potatoe. I put some of the chili on the potatoe with a little sour cream and it was very good.
I have also heard to soak the fish in some milk before cooking to get rid of the extra "fishy" smell or taste. It is worth a try.
I'm hoping my w/i is OK.
Keep up the good work, everyone & talk to you soon.
I am not loseing anything despite staying OP..I have had to have steroid injections in my spine and I know that has to be the reason...I had my second injection April 30...I doubt I will make my challenge..
Good luck tonight Bandit2! I like Wendy's- I tried the Cajun Chicken Ceasar Salad last week, with low fat ranch, and it was great!!
Whimsey- The shots are out of your control, but try to stay OP- even if the #'s are not moving right now you can only be getting healthier! Eventually the numbers will move, so keep trying! Do the shots give you swelling or make you retain water?? Hang in there!
Neither....I think it is just the steroid....I gained 8 lbs with the first one and didn't even realize it....this second one I have really kept a close watch on...no gain (thank god) but a brick wall.
That really sucks- at least you haven't gained this time though!
I had a horrible evening. I had about 20 pts left for the day, saved because I knew I had a party to go to. I was in control, then heard sooome frustrating news from a friend...next thing I knew I plowed through crackers, cheeseball, veggie bars, veggies and dip and a piece of cheesecake!!! I am in the worst mood and just feel like kicking something HARD!!!
Well, I had my w/i on Thurs & was soooo disappointed. I was up 1.8# - I knew I felt yukky but was totally bummed. And instead of re-focussing I ate alot of extra things over the weekend. So, today I got up & did my tape & packed my lunch box up for the day. I hate it when I am up even a little. But it should make me be extra careful but it doesn't.
Anyway, enough of my whining & now it makes it harder to make goal - but I am determined to reach it this time.
Bandit2- I know how you feel- good luck getting back OP!
I just had 4 bad days and when I went walking this morning I was a big grouch!! I did walk, though, and I am back tracking. I am ready to work for my loss again, although I don't expect good news at the scale this week I can try harderfor one next week!! It was easier to stay OP when I felt super flabby- the closer I get to being back at goal the less motivation I have! Anyone else feel like that?
Saskiemom - good you were down this week. I have w/i tomorrow. Hoping to be better than last week (get crazy just thinking about it). Anyway, I have been doing my tapes and eating within my range. It just seems if I have anything over my range I gain & I don't even take the A/P into consideration.
Anway, good for you & everyone else who had a good w/i.
Check back in later.
bandit2-how was wi? good, i hope!
i have been having a great op week i haven't walked yet today, but will get it in sometime today...time is running out on ANOTHER challenge, how do you all thinnk you will do? I have 1.4 to go, and i am positive i will do it!!!
have a great weekend!
Congrats on your losss, Bandit2!
I just can't seem to get my act together lately! I do 2-3 days OP, then crash over the weekend. I have been lucky enough not to have gained so far, but I guess I will see if it has caught up with me tonight. I hate this- every week I dread WI. I used to be excited for it! I have had ONE good OP week in the past 4 months. Thats horrible!
Does anyone have any advice for me?
Well, I gained back the # I lost last week. So I didn't lose anything for this challenge. Just up & down all through it.
I seem OK for a few days then have a horrible time over the weekend. This weekend my bf is away, so I am really going to be strict with myself.
How did everyone else do for the challenge? And are we up for another one?
