I am so tired!!! I have been out visiting my sister and her family (aka the two cutest little boys in the world) since Friday night and I had an INSANELY early flight this morning where I had to get up at 3:45am together to the airport and my nephew decided last night was going to be the night he wouldn't sleep and scream all night since he's getting sick. So I'm going on like 45 minutes of sleep right now .

I had a great week with them and ate a lot of frozen yogurt...haha. But right back into today!! When I get home from the airport the plan is gym and then food shopping for the remainder of the week.

Question Help

Ok I need advise, I have hit a wall and cannot get past my initial loss.

We have had three events a week since I started and I keep exceeding my points, and I go in prepared to say no, but the focus fades as I get engrossed with the fun of everything.

How do I dig down and get over this hump!!! I'm so discouraged right now and yet I know it's my fault!!

Anyone got any advise????

aet ngelsgirl1983 I know how you feel I think we have all been there. I had a bad Jan/Feb and really felt I was back on track until this past Sat, Sun, Mon and it undid all the work I had put in these past few weeks I am up 3lbs in less than a week.
Just try to find some positive or NSV to celebrate it helps with the brain boost.

mercuryblue that is sooo awesome. I had them check my BMI at the gym last week and I have gone from 38% to 33% since Dec only 4% away from being in the normal range which comes out to about 10lbs.

Have any of you ever read the book The Lean Look? I just finished it and I like that he has three Phases of exercise routines to help you get that lean muscle look so you get the most out of your exercise routines. I am going to try them for the next 12 weeks and see if it will help me get past the 'gee I can tell you have lost weight' to 'wow you look so fit and slim' LOL

I made bad food choices today. I stayed within my points, but ate junk all day. I feel just blah right now. I'm definitely eating cleaner tomorrow for sure! It's supposed to be 65 degrees tomorrow, I think I'll fire up the grill and BBQ some chicken!

MercuryBlue that's awesome!!

Angelsgirl - Can you find out ahead of time what food will be there and plan accordingly? That always works for me when going out somewhere.

Hello again!

I finally registered for weight watchers this week. I paid the weekly fee last week and this week I lost 3.4 pounds! My leader talked about looking at small goals instead of the big picture. So I am doing very small goals and taking it one small step at a time.

Nancy - I made a beef stuffed manicotti two nights ago that was only 6 WW PP per piece. It had 2.5 oz of lean ground beef, mozerella cheese stuffed into the noodle with sauce on top. It filled my pasta craving in a point friendly way!

Proud of myself today - I had a meeting and smeone brought us a "thank you" gift of specialty donuts. I scooted the box to the other end of the table and refrained. They did look good -but I don't trust myself enough yet not to gorge
