Arrow WW MM CHALLENGE! Sept/Oct Week 7!

Holy Moly! We're already on week seven, folks! This is amazing!

Just two weeks left in this two month challenge. We are doing so fantastically!

Spreadsheet link!

Another week, and some more updates to give! Only two weeks until Halloween, as well. Let's keep up the great work

Weigh-in is in the morning! Will give ye ol' update as usual then I hope everyone's done well this week

---

Adding the actual update:

Down 2.3 pounds this week. Which means I bumped into my goal for the challenge. (Woot!) I'll tack on a few pounds to maybe get down a couple more by the end of October.

I had a decent week. I do think that I need to be cooking a little more and getting in more produce. I went to a little class on Saturday and walked there and back. They had candy corn and pumpkin muffin cake and pizza brought there and I avoided them.

I also went out to eat Thai on Saturday with my parents since they were up to visit. I managed to eat only half of my plate of pineapple fried rice, but I did indulge in made-at-the-restaurant coconut ice cream. Worth it. Very yummy. Plus, I haven't had Thai in a solid year. Glad I controlled it.

My only concern for this week is that on Saturday I'll be going to drive down to carve pumpkins at my mother's house and while she doesn't usually have many temptations in the house, my sister will be going and my brother will be there ... there's the possibility of them bringing cookies/treats for the season. I already made the decision that I'm only having a treat ON Halloween, so I'll have to bring my will power and say "no thanks" to anything brought beforehand.

Can't wait to see all the updates this week!

way to go lovely! I was down this week too ....finally after two weeks of gain.
I am actually looking forward to this week but I need to do some serious meal planning. So if anyone has some quick food ideas for main meals that would be great. I need to find something that my husband can either just heat up or finish up while I go work out

Good job, Lovely

As for me, I gained 1.6 pounds. I've been in a yo-yo mode for the past month.

I have no excuse. Last weekend, I ate too much, drank too much, ended up with a bad hangover and the final piece, a gain.

I'm praying for water retention LOL

But seriously, I'm getting back into tracking mode this week, and I need to start back running!

I updated the spreadsheet and last week, we lost a total of 9.6 pounds bringing us to 105.7 pounds lost so far. Keep up the good work, ladies!

----

I was a bit bummed by my gain yesterday. I was expecting eat, well, I know too well what I ate (and drank lol) last weekend. I wasn't so proud of myself for the bad food choices and drink choices. I guess I was living in some of world where I thought my choice would not have consequences on my weight in lol Big reality check in here!

But I return to good old tracking (writing down everything, checking with my kitchen scale, etc) and drinking a lot of water... THis morning, I was back down at 156.2 (I WI everyday, I like to make graphs LOL), almost my last week WI. It was probably water retention, I guess.

I think it was the kick and the scare I needed to get back into track... But god, those last 15 pounds are hard on me!!!

Good for you Turbo for getting back on track! It is so hard to remain positive when you have a gain. I know the previous two weeks for me that .5 gain each week made me not want to keep going. But this week was down 4.5 what kind of crazy stuff is that?

Anyway just wanted to say hang in there and keep up the good work

GRATS on the loss this week! I know those gain weeks (especially a couple in a row) can be so discouraging, but if that should ever happen again you can take a look at this example. The weight WILL come off, it just takes time.

I'm not as great at quick meal ideas as I am at "not difficult" meal ideas. I tend to like to make chilis. A huge pot of them. And then ration them out for like 8 meals during the week.

Ugh. I'm sorry you went through a gain this past week. I'm amazed you're 15 pounds away from your goal. You WILL get there.

Often when I'm having a rough time, the one thing that keeps me afloat is imagining where I'd be if I hadn't made any changes.

You're such an encouraging and positive member, Turbo. And so I have no doubts that you'll achieve your goals.

Lovely funny you should say that about chili. I made a giant pot last night! I like to take a few carrots and peppers and saute them in the pot until tender then puree them with a can of diced tomato's to get a boost of veggies in my meal. I leave the onions just chopped and I add some tvp with 2 cans of pinto beans...by the time I am done I have about 8 cups of chili

Having this for my lunch today and will put the rest in single serve containers in the freezer.

Now I just have to find a few more 'quick' meals

Oh god, you are so sweet. Thank you for your kind words. It always really help to know people from 3fc are there and understand pretty much everything I'm going through... Especially when the boyfriend is maintaining for about 2 months now and has started to had bunch of things to his diet because '' oh now, I lost again this week, what am I going to do, I want to maintain now!'' (poor thing...!!! )

And it is true that we lost over 100 pounds... that is a lot and amazing

The hupe pot of chili is such a good idea. It makes awesome lunch!

I discovered Skinnytaste today (I know, where I have been!) and I'm trying 4 receipes tonight.. aWe had pumpkin seed encrusted tilapia in the oven and spinach rice... it was amazingly good and everything was ready in 30 minutes!!

And now I'm making banana/peanut butter muffin and cream of aspargus soup for the week hockey season is now officially started, the bf is screaming alone in the living room and I have nothing to do by myself LOL

Congrats to everyone who is losing! Keep up the good work!
Me on the other hand can't seem to get my diet/exercise back on track. I know it's probably due to stress over having no job, possibly having to move back in with my grandma or mom, and court dealing with custody of my youngest. I finally figure out my school stuff and future career. I am going for my master's in crime and intelligence analysis, instead of law school. I just feel its for the best. I applied for graduation (may 2012!), just ready to put my bachelor's behind me. UGH! I am getting back on track whether it kills me or not lol. I have done well today. I am going to make it to 145 by April 29 if not lower!

Down 0.5lbs this week. Not a huge woosh, but a loss is better than gaining! Congrats to all who are seeing the scale move in the direction they want and to the rest of us, we keep plugging along and making adjustments to the plan.

Down 2 lbs this week. I'm noticing a pattern where one week I lose, the next I maintain, lose next, maintain next, etc. I don't know why it's happening, but it's interesting. I wonder if it's what I'm eating, or just my body.
