I'm in my second week of WW online and I'm loving it so far! I love fresh fruits and veg, so this plan is easy breezy for me. Lost 2.4 lbs the first week.

As far as the grocery bills go...

I do couponing, I have a binder I keep my coupons in and right now I clip just what I will use. Then I match up my coupons with sales. The only things I can't get coupons for is milk, eggs, produce and meat. I buy meat in the pattern when it's on sale. Usually items go on sale every 4-6 weeks at each store (but not necessarily in the same week). Then I focus on fresh produce. I buy bread products when they're on sale and freeze extra packages. (My local grocery store had a sale B1G2 Free on Thomas English Muffins so I got 12 packages!!) I go to Walmart or Target for snack items (Special K Fruit Crisps, Fiber Bars, cereal, etc.) because it's cheaper there.

On average I spend about $50-$75 a week on groceries for 2 people and I usually go to at least 2 different stores. BUT, my husband drinks Coke, so about $10-15 of that is for 12 packs of coke. Before couponing I used to spend about $100-$150 every week.

Breakfast I rotate between 4-6 staple meals and lunch I eat leftovers or sandwiches if I can get lunch meat (low sodium) on sale w/ a coupon.

I'm a WW Online newbie, too! I'm trying out this plan because it isn't so much restrictive as it is making the right choices in the right portions (and you can reward yourself with some of the weekly allowance if you like!). I'm not good at restriction, but I can stick with moderation.

Bailunrui - I like the flexibility too! It also makes it easier for eating out. There are some resources online for points for restaurants. I find it easier to choose a lower-point meal than when I did South Beach and had to try and find something without carbs! I think you nailed it with saying moderation rather than restriction. On South Beach, I kept thinking of it as a temporary thing, whereas WW is really just a way to learn how to eat for health.

I have OCD and am in therapy and told my therapist I was thinking of doing WW and she thought it was a great idea. I have been in several different weight plans over the last 4 years. No problem getting the weight off, just keeping it off was always a problem. The thinks this is the ideal thing for me.. Not too fast of weight loss and then the bonus of learning how to portion and eat food that is healthy and will keep the weight off forever if I can stick with it.. I am sick of being over weight and really need to get healthy again..

I absolutely cannot give up carbs. That would be a deal-breaker for me. That's why I like WW. They penalize you for carbs with higher point values, but they don't say that you can't eat them.

I have realized I can't give up carbs, but I am having to actively make myself go for lean protein instead of carbs when I'm hungry. I need to remember to have some almonds or something with protein instead of bread!

Hey there.. I joined WW online 3 weeks ago and just found this site today.. I am a member of the snails pace losing club but I am finding it's giving me time to learn patience... I've tried many programs including ww years ago and I find when I get near goal I tend to fall off the wagon.. hope that this time I can figure out exactly what that is all about!!

I am going into week 3 and struggling a bit. I struggle with cooking vs snacking. I like the quick and easy. Also the points. Struggling. I know I'm 25something pounds but I really did not eat this much before. The couple of days I got my points in...I gained 2 pounds I'm not giving up by any means, I just have to find and learn how to make hearty filling meals, stop relying on the snacking, and get moving.

I know the feeling. I think that it takes some planning for sure. I try to take part of Sunday afternoon to do some planning and some cooking.

I am so happy to say that I have been doing WW for one week and have lost 4lbs! I am really happy and can see this is going to be the lifestyle change I needed to keep the weight off.. Took me a minute to figure out the online site but with some help from a few of you I am doing really well.!

Thanks!
