Is it the same plan?

  • I'm a uk weightwatcher. Is the US points plus the same plan as the uk pro points? Based on protein, carbs, fat and fibre?

I just love this site and want to use some of the recipes.

    Thanks, Caroline x
  • Yes. I don't know why they have different names for it from the USA to the UK, could be copyrighting issues or something silly.

Either way! They are, in fact, the same thing. PointsPlus = ProPoints.
  • Thanks for that. Now I just have to convert American measurements to uk ones.

Cups are something we drink from here in England. Strange -2 english speaking countries separated by a common language.

Having returned from a trip to the US recently I'm also being nagged by my daughter for a Red Velvet Cake recipe (ww style of course).

    Off I go searching.

  • Red Velvet Cake Recipe--try skinnytaste.com She has one and it has the points values for it!
  • There are some differences because your nutritional data is computed differently than ours (the info on the products). Each country's WW program is tailored to the foods available and the customs of the country. Run it through the WW calculator on the British site.
  • I have never had red velvet cake...tho I hear its quite delicious...I have no desire (imagine that) to eat it. Nor have I ever had a Twinkie. Seriously. Put ravioli in front of me tho, that's a different story altogether.
