More like half-weekly!

How's everyone's week going?

I'm getting 3 of my wisdom teeth out next week and I am sooo not looking forward to it. I'm always such a huge wuss when it comes to anything being done to my teeth, I don't know why.

The surgery is at the beginning of the week so I'm already starting to plan out my groceries and stuff for the week. For tooth #1 I was very tired and not-hungry for days, didn't feel like cooking, etc. And I was able to chew on one side of my mouth last time but this time will have teeth out on both sides so guessing it might take longer to eat more "normally." So I want to make sure I have lots of healthy, mushy, easy to prepare foods around. So far thinking stuff like egg whites, nonfat cottage cheese and yogurt, spinach (or would spinach get stuck in those holes easily? hmmm), bananas, sweet potato, lowfat canned soup. If I'm feeling really ambitious I'll premake and freeze some stuff over the weekend.

Anyone have any fun plans or challenges coming up on the weekend?

When I had oral surgery I ate a lot of sugar free popsicles, practically no calories and the coldness feels good. Don't eat a lot of really hot , Tempature wise, foods while you are healing, especially if you see a little bleeding. Cold packs will help with keeping the swelling and bruising down.

ahhhhh 3 teeth! yikes. Be brave girl! Dont eat anything that has or the potential to have lots of particles. When i had a tooth out, i ate a lot of warm... not hot, soup. I had a lot of broth type soups and at the time cream soups (not in my WW days lol). I was able to eat mashed potatoes, mashed turnips and stuff like that. I basically did whatever i could to avoid getting that dreaded "dry" socket. Which i hear is more painful than childbirth! Dont drink through a straw either, thats bad news.

Ooh I had completely forgotten about the temperature aspect of things, thanks bargoo and mercury! I picked up some sugar free popsicles today too. The more shopping I can get out of the way ahead of time the better. Oh the dry socket, I am sososo hoping I avoid that.

Sorry Jinksie! It's amazing how much sodium can get stuffed into some foods! Hope you've been getting in lots of water.

I havent eaten over my daily allowance at all this week, and nothing. I already know i cant shake it up, by eating more, cos i gain weight....
today im going to try drinking as much water as i can possible handle.
(i also starter weight training - again - this week. That probably has something to do with it - i hope - but i've also been SUPER stressed this week.. i need to relax but cant )
